On overnight stays.

On tv shows when a couple wakes up in bed together in the morning they are usually shown wearing underwear when you know they had sex the night before and were nude.

Avalon is back! :)

Given that I usually take a quick shower after sex (if only to remove the lube), I slip on some underwear between the shower and falling asleep, so yes, this TV scenario makes sense.

You are asking a question based on a TV show? They're generally not going to show nude people getting out of bed.

I have watched some shows where the guy pops out of bed, and is shown from the rear, NUDE.... Oh those Millennials ! :D:D

I applaud them, but they're rare. They're often even coyer with women.

An mmf threesome on the NBC show The Following was particularly laughable in that regard because Emma kept her bra on while Jacob and Paul were at least shirtless.

I've often wondered about that. Having almost no experience with sex with women, do they often keep their tops on during sex? Or is that just a bone to throw to the TV censors?

I sleep naked, ever since high school. Every once in a while I'll fall asleep wearing sweats, but that's rare.

It's TV censorship. The idea that women regularly keep their bras on 24/7 is particularly laughable. A lot of us can't wait to get out of the damn things.

(Porn also presents a skewed picture for apparent fetish and aesthetic reasons.)

Outside of sexytimes, I don't sleep completely naked. The closest I get is sleeping without a top when it's hot. Otherwise I wear a variety of sleeveless and short-sleeved sleep and loungewear. Anything long-sleeved is too warm once I'm under the covers.

I may be the last man alive who loves to wear a pajama bottom to bed.

It was becoming common to show ass shots thanks to NYPD Blue hell even Smallville was giving us glimpses of Tom Welling's body double's ass...then Nipplegate happened and the shorts went back on. Fing Timberlake and his poor manual dexterity. He ruined it for all of us! Think how much hotter Arrow would be with Stephen Amell naked!

Back in the earlier days of TV, couples (even married ones) not only were fully clothed, they had twin beds:

As for me, sex or no sex I sleep in the buff. Though I keep a pair of sweatpants next to the bed for taking the dog out, or if I need to go to the door for anything,

For many years, I slept nude, then got in the habit of sleeping in underwear. I've recently gone back to sleeping nude after reading that it is supposed to be more healthful than wearing clothes to bed.
