I can't figure out why so many guys in the gym are getting tattoos. The problem is that probably 60 percent of them are hideous looking and don't compliment the body.

BTW, was stuck in traffic this summer at an interstate underpass and there was this guy covered in tats begging for money. He should have not gotten the ugly tats and saved the money.

I completely agree!

Imo the only people who should be seen with tattoos are the Holocaust survivors so that we are reminded that such a great evil happened and that we should be on guard that it never happens again.

I know it's subjective but i think tattoos are disgusting body mutilation. I've passed on dozens of otherwise handsome escorts, masseurs, and fuckbuddies because i can't get past their tattoos. My husband threatened to get a trendy shoulder/chest tattoo a few years ago. I told him i would leave him if he went through with it.

Likewise, I'm quite heavily inked. I'm sure there are men out there who find them ugly, but lucky for them, they'll never have to wear my skin! Unless they're into weird Buffalo Bill shit... yikes...

But it was really crucial for me to find an artist I trusted, because I didn't want to get stuck with art I hated on my body. I sat on my idea for almost a decade just to be 1000% sure I knew what I wanted, and then... well, here we are.

I get LOTS of positive feedback on mine. I guess the people who don't like them have manners enough to keep it to themselves.

Luckily I have not had to be around a lot of people with them. I guess I probably subconsciously have not hired because there are simply too many tattoos. Am I supposed to fuck you or read you?

I can't speak for all people who are tattooed, but I doubt whether most of them are expecting you to comment on them. You just treat them like you would somebody who doesn't have tattoos.

I'm glad that I'm not limited by either fetishizing tattoos or being turned off by them. (I have enough deal-breakers as it is. :)) There are guys I find extremely sexy who are heavily inked and others without a piece of body art on them. I just like it to be consistent with their overall image and attitude.

Cases in point:

https://rent.men/FabianMarco

Fabian is as sweet as they come. His completely unmarked body goes with his personality. There is a wholesomeness about him that would be diminished by tattoos.

Marco is hot AF. He exudes sex. The way he walks and talks and carries himself. His ink is just part of his whole "I live life on my terms" vibe.

They both make me weak in the knees. Just for different reasons.

I would just turn off the lights and enjoy the muscles while disregarding the tattoos. :)

I would never get one because they're unregulated and unsafe, but aesthetics are largely subjective and people with tattoos have already factored in that some people might be averse to them. To complain that someone else has done something with his body that interferes with your appreciation of it seems to miss the point.

I'm of the opinion (personal statement meaning aside) they rarely add to the beauty of the human body. I suspect they are a bit like loud granite counter tops-- seen almost everywhere, almost expected, but soon to be a fashion design/statement relic. Imagine working in a nursing home 40 years from now when all this faded and sagging glory

appears on almost everyone! Yikes!

The popularity of tattoos, like the popularity of granite countertops, waxes and wanes. "Everything old is new again."
