you typically have to meet them outside the elevator lobby as those tend to be guarded and only registered guests or someone with a key can access and they will ask to see the key in some of them like the wynn, encore etc

For the most part you will have no issues... however... some casino hotels have access card controlled entry where you have to show your room key or swipe your room key. If this is the case, someone want be able to just go up to your room without you. Most hotel/casinos do not have this method of access-- or some just on the weekends.

pretty much. a lot of casino employees and taxi cab drivers have escorts they can recommend or provide to you... or so i hear... from very good sources.

and the casinos dont care as long as you arent making it super obvious or a scene, and i am pretty sure if you are a high roller the concierge has who ever you want on speed dial

Hotel security really varies depending on the property, and the staff have seen it all, especially in Vegas. You should still be cautious and not draw too much attention when meeting an escort. Just act natural and have fun, but don't invite any problems. Do you have a favorite hotel?

The last time I was at The Venetian, it had a guard in front of the elevators. I think during a certain time, you had to flash your card key to get to the elevator area. When I was at the hotel Monaco, two years ago, you could just walk right in and head upstairs.

 

Like others have said, you should be fine as long as you are not bringing negative attention to yourself. Which I think would take a lot, considering I'm sure the hotel staff have seen all sorts of craziness.

Any hotel in Vegas isn't going to prevent you from inviting a guest to your room. An escort cannot however make his own way up to your room, so meet him in the lobby and walk together. No one is going to KNOW that you're walking with an escort. If you're paranoid about it, ask him to call you "Uncle" ! ha ha

After several trips to the lobby to retrieve him every night, I got a room key for

him so he could just come up on his own.

 

BIG MISTAKE!

 

After I checked out he sent me a pic of the "great new shoes" he bought using my room key / charge.

 

They weren't expensive but I was NOT amused. I was waiting until after my flight home to

respond because I didn't want to go ape shit on the kid. I was hoping I could calm down a

little first and have a measured response.

 

Before I landed, I got a text saying "What I did was wrong. I'm sorry. I returned the shoes"

along with a picture of the receipt for the returned shoes.

 

I simply texted back "you did the right thing, thank you", and never contacted him again.

 

Lesson learned

Also, in those casinos where you only need to SHOW they key rather than actually use it in the elevator, many local escorts will already have a key (that won't open any doors). Best to check with the escort. If they're local they probably know your hotel better than you do.

I guess AC is different from Vegas in AC a room ONLY grants access to the room and pool, you need the access slip with YOUR NAME and room number to purchase anything the room keys are all generic and are magnetic to open specific room numbers

The casino resorts in Vegas are HUGE--often the hotels have over 2000 rooms! All kinds of people go through these places every day. If you want guests in your room, the hotel couldn't care less. Many more people than are actually staying at the hotels frequent their restaurants and casinos--droves of people, so there is no way the hotel can keep track or would want to.

 

That said, some (but not all) of the hotels require a key card to operate the elevators, thus providing some semblance of security. You can easily figure out if this is the case when you check in. At New York, New York it wasn't required when I was there. If your guest will need a key card for the elevators, you can easily arrange to meet him in the lobby at one of the many bars and restaurants. It is likely that the escort will have some familiarity with the hotel, so pick a bar you like and arrange for him to meet you there. Buy the guy a drink. When you walk up to your room with your new friend, I guarantee that nobody will bat an eye. As a previous poster mentioned, "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas."

 

One thing that impressed me most on my one and only trip to Vegas was how helpful and friendly the hotel staff was. They really go out of their way to make sure you are having a good time. The other hotel guests are remarkably friendly also. People actually talk to strangers on an elevator!!! Hotel personnel will approach you with smiles in a crowed lobby or casino (usually the same thing) and ask if you need any help or directions. Basically, the hotels exist to pick your pocket, but they are exceptionally pleasant in the way they go about it.

I would no more hand a room key card to an escort than I would give him the keys to my house or car. Nothing against escorts, but really! This is street smarts level 101. When entertaining in your room, you put your wallet, your IDs, your credit cards, your other valuables and any money beyond what you are planning on spending on your guest into the room safe. Behaving as if you just fell off the turnip truck is simply asking for it.

We were staying on the cheap at small hotels and pensions--generally quite nice places. Outside of Vicenza, we stayed at what turned out to be a convent which rented out nice, clean rooms to raise money. That evening I went out to see what kind of trouble I could get into and returned back to the convent at 3:00 am only to find the place locked up tight as a drum. I rang the bell repeatedly and ultimately awakened somebody to let me in the front gate. I will never forget the look on the face of the nun I had awakened at 3 am. I am convinced she was absolutely sure that whatever I had gotten up to at that time of night was most certainly no good. Naturally, she was quite correct. To my relief, the next morning we checked out.

Very doubtful the casinos care. I used to visit very often, when I had a lot of miles to burn. One particular trip, more than a decade ago, I "spent" a lot of money. Shortly after, got a questionnaire email from the hotel. I don't remember any of the questions except for the last one that asked if I was gay or straight. I was so shocked, and nervous at the question, I responded straight.

 

Unfortunately, just after, my job duties changed, travel was no longer required, and it was years before I got back there. The points expired, and I was no longer pursued by the casino. I can only speculate, had I answered differently, and continued to visit, I may have had my first man experience 10 years earlier, on the house.
