Over the last two days, February 16 and 17, there have been more bearded than clean shaven escorts reviewed. So are beards back for escorts and clients, does a beard sway you to hire or not hire a particular escort?

For me, I wear a beard at time thinking that the more of my face that is covered the better I look. Do beard hide a multitude of appearance sins?

I like facial hair so yes it does sway me, most of the time. ;)

 

Others have confirmed the more of my face and other parts of me that are covered the better I also look. :rolleyes:

 

I wear a beard because I may or may not be in the witness protection program. :eek:

 

I hope the beard trend doesn't end soon. Or at least until I outgrow this "phase" of liking men. :confused:

I want to hijack this thread slightly to ask a related question. There's a small time window in the upcoming months when I need to be clean $haven. Should I just post text in my ads about this fact, add more pics of myself clean shaven, and then say something like, "See pics 5 through 7?"

Please do. As a client, I expect the guy to look like his pics. If you don't look like your main pic, it's nice to know. It wouldn't affect my hiring, but if I expect one thing and get something else, it just starts off on the wrong foot.

Mike, you know how picky some people can be and how important it is that people look like their photographs. I think it would be wise to post a beardless pic and explain that that is how you currently look. That way you can head the complainers off at the pass.

I'm trying to think of reasons why you have to shave your beard off, and all I can come up with is that you will be doing drag. :D

You might want to put a note in the text of your ad. You already have a very nice picture of you beardless, but the more the merrier. You a purty man. ;)

 

I can't imagine anyone not hiring you for that reason, but I have to say, I love your beard. If you showed up at the door clean shaven, I would be a little surprised is all. I wouldn't feel cheated...just surprised.

Biased opinion here. :rolleyes: I like your beard. That being said you're a handsome, sexy, witty, fun, charismatic, smart, and above all charming man which is so much more than just some hair on your face. So if it takes a couple of extra photos without the sexy facial hair so be it. A small footnote that the situation is only temporary(I hope) would suffice IMO. Good luck kid. ;)

I think when an escort changes his "looks" (e.g. trimming facial/body hair, weight gain/loss,

marked change in hair style, etc) it best to have pictures up withe current "look" whatever

that is.

 

I don't mind if there are other older pics as well. Face it, sometimes you just look DAMN

good in an older photograph and I don't blame anyone for posting their best pictures.

 

I'd just make sure to point out in the text WHICH pictures are most accurate TODAY.

Just curious since you seem to feel quite strongly about it. Not asking you to explain yourself, but wondering if it is because it can take away some of the youthfulness or you just have a general dislike of body hair?

 

I'm not a fan of twinks and am on the fence about twunks (muscular twinks.) But you add a beard and I'm all in! Even when they would otherwise be too young for my general type.

All interesting, I have preferences, no beards being one, but I so frequently find myself disregarding them. No beard? Yup. Mike Gaite, totally hot! Oh, he has a beard, I hadn't noticed. I keep finding myself totally ignoring my 'preferences' if I like the guy. My last hire, did he have a five o'clock shadow or five days' growth? I have no idea, I was totally caught up in the moment and didn't notice. My thoughts, if I'm scrolling through a page of photos I'll judge them based on my 'preferences' but if I've chatted here or even seen some evidence of what he is like as a person I'll ignore those preferences in a flash!

I do like twinks and twunks and have a dislike of hair in many parts of the body, MikeyGMin. I don't think, however, that it has anything to do with "diminished youthfulness". I like clean shaven faces, smooth torsos, smooth backs (that is a must), smooth butts and asses, but do not mind hairy pits, pubes or legs. I prefer a full head of hair, but am not particularly turned off by receding hairlines, thinning hair or even baldness.

 

A strange twist: the combination of a smooth upper body and hairy legs drives me wild. Sexual attraction is complicated. Go figure...
