In 2018, I stepped away from traditional hiring and ventured into the world of sugar dating, finding it far more compatible with my lifestyle, needs, and desires. After a few initial tries, I found an incredible local guy, and we shared a highly successful, mutually beneficial 7-year arrangement.
He became my best friend. Together, we learned and respected each other's boundaries, needs, and expectations. I enjoyed supporting him with a modest allowance and gifts, and in return, I had a reliable, wonderful companion to share my favorite things with—including weekend getaways, clothing, concerts, sporting events, and over ten amazing vacations. We communicated almost daily, sharing flirty texts and photos just to stay connected without the feeling that I needed to pay him or was wasting his time. When we planned getting together I knew I could always rely on him not to cancel and to always be up for and ready to play if I so desired. I understand that this isn't the case for every sugar relationship and I do consider myself extremely lucky to have found him and kept his interest for so long.
Our arrangement ended amicably this past February as life took us in different directions, though we remain close friends and still text daily and I still occasionally get a naked pic. Now, I am considering returning to the world of hiring.
