In Facebook, from what I saw, a disturbing number of replies accused him of being a vaccine denier. Apparently, the vaccination did not enhance math skills nor offer protection from stupidity. I think his Twitter post was the joke since it had actually been five years since the pandemic, but some people on Facebook misunderstood, didn't get that joke, and accused him of being a vaccine denier, which from his other Twitter post he clearly isn't. My comment was addressing those Facebook critics, not Mr. Akers. MikeBiDude, Rod Hagen, + azdr0710 and 1 other 3 1

My comment was addressing those Facebook critics, not Mr. Akers. Precisely. I understood that was what you were saying in your earlier post, but I had initially thought too, that you had been referring to Mr Akers. The responses speak to the instant assumption that anything with the vaguest outline of being anti-vax is often assumed to be just that before examining the detail within that outline. Being too quick to judge is an affliction not limited to one side of politics, despite the firm belief of some that it is only the 'other' side that is so afflicted. + azdr0710 and marylander1940 1 1
