Yes, he knows he's quite blessed but building his wealth also took work ethic, middle-class values that among other things kept him from doing PNP, spending all his earnings unlike other escorts, and of course good luck! The escort contacted me today, three weeks before, to say that he was cancelling because of the increase of ICE surveillance at airports in the US. He is foreign born but has work papers but he is so anxious about the possibility of being held by ICE that he has curtailed all US travel by plane until things appear somewhat safer. In his position, I would probably do the same. Without discussion not allowed on this site, a simple yes or no, has anyone else run into the obstacle for travel within the States. It certainly has been the case for escorts trying to enter the country from outside. As long as he has a Real ID with a star, he'll be fine, but I understand him being cautious. pubic_assistance 1

Being fine and feeling fine ahead of time are really two different things. Odds are that he will be fine, but it is definitely the case that he will probably never feel safe traveling the way he did in the past even if his asylum is granted. The idea that we are deporting criminals is only true for the most part if you consider a person overstaying a visa criminal. When many people think of criminals, these are not the people who they are thinking are being affected by this. DMonDude, pubic_assistance, marylander1940 and 1 other 1 1 2
+ StLouisOct Posted Thursday at 11:53 PM Posted Thursday at 11:53 PM One of my favorites is from Mexico living in Canada. He used to come to the U.S. regularly, but not so much since Trump was elected. Too many bad ICE stories. Can’t blame him. ericwinters and DMonDude 2
+ purplekow Posted yesterday at 02:47 AM Author Posted yesterday at 02:47 AM Rick Hammersmith, retired escort living in Canada has told me he and many other Canadians will not travel to the US due to Trump and his seeming vendetta against Canada. This has really hurt the tourist industry here in Palm Springs where there thousands of Canadians renting for a month at a time. As a result, others can get a relative bargain price on Air.BNB Peter Eater and thomas 2

I’ve never travelled for work (not sex work at least - I used to travel for my ‘conventional’ job). Sex work is mainly UK based. Because of the risks I’ve decided not to travel to the US, even for leisure. It’s just not worth the hassle. Whilst it’s legitimate for any country to manage its borders and ensure its tax laws are complied with it does seem that this is being done in a very capricious and hostile way. pubic_assistance, Saabster, thomas and 2 others 1 1 1 2

Immigration is a HUGE issue in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia. Without getting into the politics of the issue, I can say that every one of these places is calling for MORE restrictions, not less. EZEtoGRU Posted yesterday at 01:20 PM Posted yesterday at 01:20 PM On a flight from DTW to FLL a few weeks ago, there were some sort of federal agents/inspectors at the Delta departure gate. We all had to show boarding passes and photo ID to both the Delta agent and the Federal agents prior to proceeding to the jet bridge. Nothing on their uniforms indicated they were ICE. Anyway…somewhat unusual for a domestic flight. marylander1940, + Vegas_Millennial, pubic_assistance and 1 other 2 1 1

Why would TSA check a second time at the departure gate? I don't know this for sure, but I doubt very much that TSA agents were checking again at the departure gate. Must have been another federal agency - probably ICE,

Must have been another federal agency - probably ICE, In July - Homeland Security issued a travel alert due to the military situation in the Middle East. Additional screening at some airports by TSA and Homeland Security have therefore been added to the increased scrutiny by Federal Immigration officers. In general, if you're not breaking the law in some way, you're only at risk of inconvenience and delay, not arrest. Danny-Darko 1

Smart! Why taking risks, DHS checks RM and has been known to us facial recognition to find providers who want to come to USA, or they might just grab his phone and see the real reason of his visit just like it happened to Daniel Cross. pubic_assistance 1
