I don't know if there's been actual studies done on this, but I've always been told by healthcare professionals that swallowing is actually safer than spitting since the cum stays in your mouth a lot less longer. It took me a lot of tries to work up my nerve to allow cum in my mouth and when I finally did, swallowing was the fastest and easiest way to deal with it.   I like it now.  

Now, I prefer to swallow and keep going and try to either completely drain my partner or make them “tap out” because the sensation is too intense.
