Rbaine2336 Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Any advice for someone new to hiring who wants to hire someone with only 6 Rentmen reviews and no presence on the boards? safety, competence, etc?
SecretProvider Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Sure: 1. check who has left the reviews - new accounts, or accounts that have been around a while and left reviews for other guys too? Reach out to those reviewers and ask things you need to know without asking too much - ( do they kiss? did they have a suitable apartment? would you see them again?) 2. Post a 411 here- maybe they have set up a new account and have a name change. if so why? you will see reveiws for old account name that may explain things. 3. ask for confirmation through WhatsApp, BRIEF facetime or Snapchat to see pics are real - although i think with 6 reviews you are fine. 4. do not send a deposit (if requested) larger than $50. post reviews here after your meeting to pay it forward and help your community. soloyo215, Whoisyourdaddy, + KensingtonHomo and 6 others 4 2 3

+ Pensant Posted Monday at 02:04 PM Posted Monday at 02:04 PM I’ve often had excellent sessions with newbies; in fact, often better than with the “well-reviewed” ones. rvwnsd, Rbaine2336, soloyo215 and 7 others 3 1 5 1
DMonDude Posted Tuesday at 01:48 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:48 AM (edited) I also have had good times with no/low review guys. Some of them just happen to get the clients who don't subscribe to RM to be able to leave reviews but are working plenty often just as the highly reviewed guys are. The fact that the reviews on RM you do see are the top whatever % of the user base that cares enough to pay for the site to be able to leave a review and the other 80, 90, 95% of the users (whatever it may be) are hiring providers without ever leaving any reviews (like me), is something that should be remembered. Both for better (the pay wall means it's more likely reviewers are real reviewers) and worse (the paywall means there's very limited number of reviewers compared to the total user base which makes it inherently skewed). One of my regulars who i've been seeing for about a year, sees many clients, and still currently has no reviews on his profile. Having no profile reviews doesn't really mean the provider is new or bad, not by default. You definitely increase your odds of having a good experience by sticking to highly reviewed guys. SecretProvider is spot on in all he suggested. But i would say too, there is fun and hidden gems to find in the guys with no or very few reviews. Just still apply the vetting process SecretProvider listed before you meet them. Edited Tuesday at 01:52 AM by DMonDude Rbaine2336, Rod Hagen, SecretProvider and 2 others 3 1 1
+ KensingtonHomo Posted Tuesday at 03:22 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:22 PM Totally agree with @SecretProvider - we just hired a guy who only had one review but once I reached out ot him, he was very responsive and warm. I think you can tell a lot about a provider in how they handle an initial outreach. This assumes someone isn't wasting their time with irrelevant questions or talking to them in a way that suggests you're looking for sexting. + Pensant, Rbaine2336 and soloyo215 2 1

Agree but you are a seasoned client with a lot of experience in analyzing ads and reviews. For most newbys having enough reviews and 6 is probably adequate, reviews, especially here, is important. jonasfoleson Posted Wednesday at 09:38 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:38 PM reviews are overhyped. Experiences differ. reviews make little sense when something is subjectively perceived, and this applies to escorting also. Rbaine2336 1

One word are a red flag for me! I’ve had wonderful experiences with 0 review providers! I hire on multiple platforms and many do not have review capabilities! Rbaine2336 1
ACluelessGent Posted Thursday at 12:51 PM Posted Thursday at 12:51 PM I like guys who don't advertise so there are no reviews. I usually meet them at a nice bar. We have drinks, chat, and if they pass the interview we continue to my place. If not, I tell them we'll be in touch and goodnight. Rbaine2336 1
rvwnsd Posted Thursday at 02:46 PM Posted Thursday at 02:46 PM To me, having six reviews from multiple clients is more than plenty. I've hired well-reviewed escorts and had a miserable time and have hired escorts with no reviews and had a fantastic time. When an escort hasn't been discussed here, just ask about him. + JamesB, + Vegas_Millennial, DMonDude and 2 others 2 1 2
