I’m not a fan.   Politics aside, what she did several years ago was sick and deranged…but when she responded like she was the victim, she lost me.   Clearly she feels a need to “remake” herself and with good reason

In general, when entertainers stop entertaining and start ranting about politics, I lose all interest.  Even if I agreed with everything Kathy Griffin said, I’d be bored stiff because I paid my hard-earned money to laugh, not to listen to politics.

The hate started when she showed herself with the amputated head of Cheeto. The rightwing went crazy and they still hate her for it. Her only mistake was apologizing for it IMO.

The last time that Kathy Griffin said anything mildly funny was 30 years ago when Jerry Seinfeld took pity on her and gave her a guest appearance on his eponymous TV show. The ignorant, vile, lizard-faced, old sea hag has done nothing but spew venom and hate since then, especially in the last 10 years. 

As a redhead she used to whine all the time that she couldn't get or keep a man. Does she think the cheap blonde hair dye will help? Her hairdresser should be sued for malpractice.... and her plastic surgeon too!

I don’t think she cares if people find her unattractive. She has always had a self deprecating sense of humor about herself anyway. She knows she is a not a model or actress. Her job is to make people laugh afterall.

Speaking of "venom and hate" you seem to have quite a bit of it towards her yourself.  I've seen some of her shows and it's all pretty tame humor about other celebrities.  Never done in a hateful way IMO. It would be helpful if you gave some examples.

Yeah, she's always referred to herself as a D list celebrity. She doesn't strike me as someone who's high on her own supply at all. She'd be the first to make fun of her own looks.

People hated her because her apology was not ringing sincere.   She proved that to be accurate.  Her behavior was horrible, her apology hollow, and then she made herself the victim of her own bad choices.   

That display should have been heinous to any civilized person regardless of their political association.

How long has it been now? A decade? She apologized over and over and it was a real sincere apology. Talk about beating a dead horse.

I think her only mistake was not owning and it and making it part of her act.  She could've named the head and brought it with her in interviews too. That would've been comedy genius. That's the only way you deal with bullies.

The red-headed witch only apologized after all of her club bookings (including her annual CNN New Year's Eve gig with Anderson Cooper) were cancelled. As @PhileasFogg astutely observed, those apologies were all disingenuous. And she subsequently retracted even those half-hearted apologies.

Bozo is still trying to determine whether she is uglier on the inside or outside. That's a tough call.

It’s interesting how politics find their way into this forum without being overtly political. What people say about certain celebrities is a litmus test of their political beliefs. Especially people who express vitriolic hate.

I never praised her for that idiotic picture of her holding an orange head up in the air after beheading it..

That wasn't as bad as celebrating a person's death for example, etc.
