+ glutes Posted Saturday at 03:48 AM Posted Saturday at 03:48 AM March 20 (Reuters) - United Airlines (UAL) CEO Scott Kirby said on Friday the airline will cancel about 5% of this year's planned flights in the short term, as jet fuel prices surge due to the Middle East conflict. "If prices stayed at this level, it would mean an extra $11 billion in annual expense just for jet fuel," Kirby said in a message to employees posted on its website. https://www.thestreet.com/travel/jet-fuel-prices-jumped-60-percent-your-next-flight-will-cost-more + Charlie 1

I also love your public transportation system. Just like New Jersey, which is 2/3 the size of Belgium, everyone uses bicycles and public transport there as well. That stretch of country between Newark and the Hudson River is ideal for cycling. marylander1940, + Vegas_Millennial, Luv2play and 1 other 4

+ Vegas_Millennial Posted yesterday at 01:36 AM Posted yesterday at 01:36 AM (edited) Petrol is now over $4.00 per gallon at Costco in Las Vegas. It's high compared to most of the nation because all of our gasoline comes from California. So, we pay the high cost from California refineries plus the cost to pump it uphill hundreds of miles, just without a few extra bucks per gallon of California fuel taxes. + glutes Posted yesterday at 01:50 AM Posted yesterday at 01:50 AM (edited) Pleasure boaters are in for a shock this summer too. If it costs $5/gal for a car, it will be $7/gal at the local marina. Lots of boats will be sitting idle at the docks with 'for sale' signs on them. Edited yesterday at 01:52 AM by glutes

It’s huge… + Vegas_Millennial and + Charlie 2
