caramelsub Posted Friday at 05:28 PM Posted Friday at 05:28 PM I think it’s always a good practice to ask for rates up front, regardless if it’s posted on rent masseur or not. Many masseurs charge extra for escort services, or have different fees for erotic level of massage. And rentmen doesn’t list pricing publicly. I don’t see how this is wasting someone’s time. You want to be paid correctly right? + bashful, MRK, + Just Chuck and 1 other 1 3
RugbyBen Posted Friday at 05:31 PM Posted Friday at 05:31 PM If it's on their profile I don't ask but I'll often ask them to confirm that is the rate. Often they'll have a few prices depending on what level of massage so useful to be sure. I also generally book 90 or 120 minutes so that might not be stated. I would say a lot of RentMasseur profiles don't have up to date info though so I'm not surprised people do ask. Though in London it's mainly location that is the issue. Danny-Darko and caramelsub 2

Is that still an up-to-date rate?" caramelsub, Whoisyourdaddy and Danny-Darko 3
+ JamesB Posted Friday at 07:38 PM Posted Friday at 07:38 PM I don’t see anything wrong with confirming rates or any other details listed in an ad. Expecting prospective clients to behave exactly the way you want is a great way to collect disappointment and frustration as a hobby. + Just Chuck and caramelsub 1 1
Heart It Deep Posted Sunday at 11:01 PM Posted Sunday at 11:01 PM I always double checks rates for the same reason many others do; and too many masseurs put "ask me." Sometimes there is a menu, and sometimes there isn't. It helps me make decisions. Danny-Darko 1
jeezifonly Posted Sunday at 11:26 PM Posted Sunday at 11:26 PM Don't forget - they're paid only for their time!

So the better way to handle this, is to simply say: “I would like the sensual/therapeutic/deep tissue/etc etc. appointment on your ad for $XXX. That’s vastly different from asking, “hey XXX, what’s your rate? Or “how much?” (This is exactly how many of them come at us). That’s where the issue comes in. I dislike comparing escort/masseur services to food, but imagine if someone asked the price for something this: “ummm how much is the mushroom burger?” ”ummm, how much is the calamari?” MassageCommunityMember and whatsinaname 2

The rates are listed on my rentmasseur page. I would think that the rate would be one of the first things they look for on the ad. Why do they ask for information that is right there on the page? Most often the listed rate isn’t the rate that Includes what I know I look for in a massage so I always inquire to be sure that want I want I will get. MassageCommunityMember 1
