White Daddy Top Posted Monday at 05:53 PM Posted Monday at 05:53 PM Hi everyone, I have a question primarily for providers, but I welcome any productive feedback. I have tentative travel plans that will require an overnight layover in Paris. I don't live there so I don't have a good feel for local providers, but since it's an overnight layover it seems like a perfect opportunity for an overnight appointment (which I generally prefer because I find them much more intimate). But it would be with someone I don't know, unless I happen to run across a provider that I have used in the past who happens to be there at the same time -- clearly unlikely. I'm a little nervous about that idea, since I would be going into the situation blind, but so would the provider. Would I be better off doing, say, a 2-hour appointment instead of an overnight? Or is there effectively no difference since I'd be hosting the provider anyway? Is it all in my mind? Has anyone here ever had an overnight appointment as their 1st encounter with a client or provider? If so, did you have the same concerns? Thanks in advance for any advice!
Solution SecretProvider Posted Monday at 07:29 PM Solution Posted Monday at 07:29 PM I have done overnights on first meeting before, most have worked out however I much prefer to have met before first. Better for everyone. I would suggest 2 hour booking, you may be jet lagged and the time difference can wreck havoc. You also will not really know the proficiency of English of the provider until you meet (assuming you don't speak French, big assumption I know) Consider asking someone you have spent overnight with previously if they would consider to meet you in Paris. + JamesB Posted Monday at 10:31 PM Posted Monday at 10:31 PM I’m not really a fan of overnights, to be honest, I only do them with a few regulars I already know very well. That said, spending the night with someone you’ve never met is a bit of a gamble for both sides. May I suggest starting with a 2 hour session and ask the provider if they’d be open to extending it to an overnight if things go well and YOU feel like it. Think of it as a “test drive” before making the full commitment. MikeBiDude, Luv2play, danteig and 3 others 1 5
Whippoorwill Posted Monday at 11:52 PM Posted Monday at 11:52 PM Not sure where you are flying from, but a transcontinental flight and difference of several time zones would suggest you might be ready to pass out after some play time and an orgasm. Do you really want to pass out, dead to the world, with a virtual stranger in your hotel room?....2hrs max. + Pensant and pubic_assistance 1 1

HockeyMan Posted yesterday at 02:46 AM Posted yesterday at 02:46 AM You can get recommendations for providers in Paris from other users here. But I also agree an overnight visit with an unknown provider while you're experiencing jet lag isn't wise. Whoisyourdaddy and + Pensant 2
big-n-tall Posted yesterday at 04:23 AM Posted yesterday at 04:23 AM The vast majority of my initial overnights/weekends have been with providers I haven’t met. Many of which have become regulars. Only a few didn’t work out. However, I had just as many encounters not work out meeting providers for 1 or 2 hours. So I haven’t been put off by hiring first time hires for overnights. If you’re worried about the encounter with a first time hire, I say meet for 2 hours. You could also ask the provider to meet for two hours and ask if he is willing to do an overnight if the two of you hit it off, as it were.
White Daddy Top Posted 15 hours ago Author Posted 15 hours ago Many thanks to everyone for your responses. I'll plan on starting with a 2-hour appointment and see how things go. You guys are great! Thanks! 56harrisond 1
GentJ Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I can definitely understand your concern--It's a risky way to play. I agree doing a FaceTime could help reduce the risk, although I wouldn't necessarily rule-out providers that won't do that (see other posts about why providers avoid calls). The times that I've done this as the first meeting, it was arranged as a 2 or 3 hour booking with an option to extend. You agree on the price of both scenarios ahead of time. From the provider's perspective, a firm commitment for a nice long booking at the end of the day isn't much of a risk. That's basically the best use of an evening for a provider. The only better scenario being an overnight, but those are unusual gigs. And if the provider any good at all, they'll feel confident in their ability to convince you to take option B 😉 From your side, if it's not what you hoped for, you just don't take the option.
