I'm very tight, and bottomed for a trans woman, but only felt looser for a few hours, not sure. She had an average dick and we used lots of lube

*Not sore

I had a 7" dick recently, and after a little discomfort at first, we used more lube and things were fine after that--I could tell I'd been fucked for a few hours, but never developed any soreness. I think it helps to ease into it at first, and not get pounded hard for too long.

I have felt sore during and after every single time I have attempted bottoming!

I've learned to ease into it and sit on it first. But after 15 min it starts to feel raw. Maybe I need to use more lube frequently.

It depends.  While size is not my sole criteria for who I hire, I am a bottom who is up for a challenge.  So, I do seek out well hung tops.  Who they were may be the subject of another topic.

I have been with some well hung guys and not been sore.  While with others, including smaller, I have been sore.  It may have to do with the lub and the top's skills.

I can't bottom more frequently than about every 3/4 days because my bottom gets really soar after. Is that typical?

Totally normal! Especially if one is newer to it or it was a longer session. Your body’s adjusting, and soreness can happen just like after a workout. That said, it shouldn’t feel like sharp pain or last too long—if it does, that could be a sign to take it slower next time, use more lube, or focus more on relaxation and communication with your partner. Listen to your body and don’t be afraid to take breaks.

I still feel a little ache or “soreness” sometimes after—but in a nice, “I had a good time” kind of way. And it never lasts long.

It sounds like it possibly. There's really no harm in too much lube so remind your top to apply more lube often and see how that goes.

I just assumed that everyone needed time to recover.

I haven't bottomed for years...but when I was younger, I don't recall ever bottoming more than once or twice a week. (HOWEVER- once I was already taking it up the ass...if I were at a sex party...I would often let 20 to 30 people fuck me all in one night.)

I was always sore the next day...whether it was 35 guys or one thick-dicked black man.

Has warming up become passé?

If the top doesn’t know how to do it for you, do it yourself. Massage and fingering (get three in there) with plenty of lube to gently stretch the inner and outer rings rather than just shoving dick in first. A blunt stab like Ennis gave Jack 🫨 can cause little tears in the muscle fibers, which result in the most discomfort after. Even after marathons with big toys, because I went slow to start, the hole got hungry enough to open slowly with no soreness after, except the back of my thighs from keeping my legs up!

Warm up, boys - always use lube and massage to prevent soreness on skin tissue and in muscle fibers.

☝️ This!

My pain or pleasure is mostly dependent on the skill of the top.  Not his size, his angle, or the lube.

A good top is like anything else in life (plumber, painter, handyman, doctor, lawyer, accountant, housekeeper, etc.).

When you find a good one, keep him!

I realized I wasn’t a bottom after a few attempts when I felt pain during the event and quickly lost my erection.  It wasn’t arousing at all once it got hot and heavy.  It could have been the top’s size (7+” and thick) and my inexperience that contributed.

if you don't drink enough water your anus can be dryer than normal and it may be more painful for you to engage in anal sex. I take medication that sometimes causes dryness and constipation if i don't drink enough water throughout the day. What really helped me is using a lube applicator like this one. Don't worry there's no needles involved, it's just a suction/plunger applicator. Use it to apply water based lube 5" and then 2" into your anus. For people who are tighter, remember do some breathing exercises to relax before anal and try to start out with an anal dilator or butt plug before you engage in anal sex.  If the top is extra thick or long it's normal to be sore up to a day after sex. I still experience soreness to this day when the guy is very girthy

This is true. I've had bigger guys who would take their time opening me up with their tongue and fingers and it wouldnt be as bad after. If i have time I would try to do it in the shower before the meeting and certainly would make a difference.  I didn't do it last time and it's so frustrating dealing with the soreness days after and the itchiness as it heals!
