Age? Body type? Attitude? Some combination of these? Daddy is an emotional construct within the mind of individual. For most gay men it's a role model that they can fuck that gives them gifts. But all of us have it own idea of what a daddy is and what they should look like. I have been called Daddy since my early thirties. Km411, Nightowl and thomas 2 1

I get lots of kids with a daddy fetish chasing after me, and I am far from fat...so definitely not required. More than likely those who actually have overweight fathers, will imprint a beer belly as desirable quality in a candidate to try and get the love they dont recieve at home. An alternative explanation: I have a gay friend who is Latin and grew up with a fit father. He vividly remembers a time when he was a young boy and went to the local community pool with his older siblings and saw a fat white man with a cut cock showering naked in the men's locker room, and he said he instantly felt attracted to older white fat men and is now a Bear chaser for white men who are cut. So, just like a small portion of the population is attracted to others of the same sex vs opposite sex, there is an even smaller portion of the population that is attracted to people that aren't conventionally attractive to most. + sniper Posted May 10 Posted May 10 Latin men do seem to like their bears for some reason. It's the demo that seems to approach me most often. We’ll see what happens if I pull the trigger on the GLP1 prescription.... MikeBiDude 1

Also wouldn't these guys just be called fat chasers?

Also wouldn't these guys just be called fat chasers? I LOVE gay bears!!! All of them. In my opinion, a gay bear is the kind of man who doesn’t just walk into a room—he claims it. Broad-shouldered and grounded, there’s an earthy confidence in the way he carries himself, like someone who’s weathered storms and come out stronger. His body isn’t carved from marble—it’s built from experience, from comfort in his own skin. A belly, thick thighs, strong arms wrapped in coarse hair—he’s the kind of man you want to fall asleep on and wake up tangled in. He smells like leather, cedar, and a hint of danger—equal parts protector and provocateur. His laugh is deep, his gaze disarming. He doesn’t need to perform masculinity—he is masculinity, in all its raw, sensual, vulnerable glory. And when he touches you, it’s not hurried or hollow. It’s deliberate. It’s possession with tenderness. A bear doesn’t just make you feel wanted. He makes you feel safe—and that, in a world that constantly asks queer men to shrink themselves, is the ultimate seduction. thomas, + Charlie, + nycman and 1 other 1 2 1

I'm now skinny fat. Meanig, I can fit into size 32" pants but am no where near < 20% body fat. So I'm not getting a lot of attention. I'm starting to feel like it's not with it. When I was larger it was much easier to get with guys. Even hot guys gave me more attention. Every time I go to the gym guys look at me with disgust. Even guys who I would consider pedestrian are rejecting me. WTF!? Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you for being responsible and choosing a healthier lifestyle! More Americans should follow your path!

I think the term bear just like masc has evolved into a state of mind not a rigid description of body type. + Charlie 1

MikeBiDude Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Urban dictionary, bold font my addition. bear Share definition The most common definition of a "bear" is a man who is hairy, has facial hair, and a cuddly body. However, the word "Bear" means many things to different people, even within the bear movement. Many men who do not have one or all of these characteristics define themselves as bears, making the term a very loose one. Suffice it to say, "bear" is often defined as more of an attitude than anything else - a sense of comfort with our natural masculinity and bodies that is not slavish to the vogues of male attractiveness that is so common in gay circles and the culture at large. + sniper Posted May 16 Posted May 16 I'd say the term bear has broadened considerably in the last 20 or so years. Before that it really did appear to me to be about being both extremely obese and hairy for a large contingent of the "community" as they were specifically rejecting the ideal of the "body Nazis" and "Chelsea clones.". The whole gainer and feeder thing was bear -adjacent. Today it's a much broader term and there are subtypes. MikeBiDude and + Charlie 2
+ sniper Posted May 17 Posted May 17 That reminds me WEHT that escort who posted here i think in the Hooboy or possibly early daddy years who ar one point was a feeder for a man who was like 400+lbs?

Pd1_jap Posted June 26 Author Posted June 26 Update: it seems like I'm on a roller coaster if attraction. Some days I get so much attention that I can't keep up. Other days it's seems like I'm a troll and nobody wants me. I foolishly started using Grindr again but that's a crap shoot. I went to century spa last night and felt like a troll nobody wanted to touch. I'm getting too the point where I didn't think starving myself and working out six days a week is worth it. I'm still hiring escorts to get that feeling of being wanted. As I get older it's only going to get worse. How do you guys deal with the constant rejection? The other day a hit college athlete contacted me on Grindr and wanted to be tied to a chair and edged. I edged him for over an hour and he came so hard it shot over his head. When he left he seemed elated but when I texted him to tell him he left his nipple clamps, he blocked me. Am I being delusional to think I can attract the kind of men I hire as escorts?

CuriousByNature Posted June 27 Posted June 27 7 hours ago, Pd1_jap said: If I'm just going to hire why care about my appearance? I would say that a person's level of fitness is more important than appearance. You're worth the effort of remaining healthy and well for as long as possible. If you give up and let yourself go, it can be a slippery slope towards a much lower quality of life down the road. I don't think starving yourself is wise in any case, but some type of reasonable physical activity each day is probably good for most people. I don't know your age, but there is nothing wrong with your body by the looks of it. Perhaps there is a difference between the fantasy that is created by spending time with a provider you see as being 'ideal', and the reality that most people in the world will never measure up? Ironically, as I write this I am just polishing off most of a large pizza... thomas, Pd1_jap and + Charlie 1 2
+ nycman Posted June 27 Posted June 27 7 hours ago, Pd1_jap said: If I'm just going to hire why care about my appearance? At this point in my life, my sex life is almost completely hires. Realistically, I’m just not going to attract the type of man I want to have sex with at this age. Nonetheless, I care about my health and I want to be as attractive as possible to the world at large. So, I go to the gym, diet regularly, and make sure my hygiene is impeccable. I dont think hiring and taking care of yourself are mutually exclusive concepts.
