There's a masseur I've had my eye on for a while who travels to my area every few weeks (unfortunately, I have not been able to book him yet as he appears to only stay for 24 hours and I haven't been available within those 24 hours). In my texts with him, he's responsive and he's fairly priced for erotic (or full service, if I want to go that way). He's very attractive (to me) and he describes himself as 'light hairy' (which I like). However, looking at his shirtless photos, I don't see a single hair on him - not on his chest / nipples, not under his arms, no treasure trail, not on his forearms or legs. The only hair I see is on his head and some facial hair. (I don't have a subscription to RM, so can't access his 'locked' photos to see what he has / doesn't have on his dick - then again, if he had a bush when he took the photos he may not have one  on the day of appointment).

So shouldn't he be advertising as 'smooth' ? Or does facial hair count as 'light hairy' ?  Does light hairy suggest some hair around his dick (which I prefer on a guy) ? Either way, I'm still interested in him. Would it be overstepping if - in my next communication with him - I politely inquire about his bush or lack of ? ( "In your ad you say 'lightly hairy' - you appear to be smooth, but do you still have hair on your dick ?" I don't want to turn him off with any questions he may feel offended by.

Thanks in advance for any input !

That he lacks any hair suggests he shaves or waxes. There is no man his age without underarm or pubic hair. He should probably be referring to himself as “shaved.”

I run into a similar concern because I do not like a hairless public area. And one with stubble is worse. If a provider has a bare public region, I move on.

Both RMasseur and RM categories refer to "body hair", so I assume his self description of "light hairy" is just that. On his RM, one picture shows a shaved pubic region. I wouldn't ask unless it's a deal breaker for you.

Thanks for letting me know about his pubic region - now I won't have to ask him.

Exactly - shaves or waxes would indicate that he presents to the client as 'smooth' not 'lightly hairy'. That's where I'm confused (and not just with him, with others as well). It's odd (to me) to refer to yourself as 'lightly hairy' (which is a turn-on to me and I'm certain others) when in fact, whatever light hair you naturally grow is shaved or waxed off before you meet the client.

I know through discussions on this forum over the past few years that hair / hairless in the pubic region is a concern at times. Some love a full bush (me), some like it nicely trimmed, some like 'stubble' to suggest it grows there, and some like it completely removed. It's too bad RM doesn't go into detail about the area for the provider to check off, as it matters a great deal to some clients.  (Again, I will take whatever is there - it's not a deal breaker - but I have a preference of what I like on a guy).

Again, thanks to both of you for the responses - much appreciated.

Another young Latino guy caught my eye (he will be visiting in two weeks, supposedly) and advertises as 'hairy'. This guy would really qualify as 'light hairy' (to me); light hair on his arms / under his arms, legs, a little on his pecs, and a treasure trail which suggests pubic hair below (in one shot he teases with his underwear slightly down). Really beautiful body (ok face), but then it's tatted on one side which throws it off. But it's not a deal breaker...I will contact him when / if he's here. His 'lightly hairy' body is a huge turn-on for me.

Yea, it tough to list in profiles and some people go for what others want to see sometimes vs. what they are. Personally, I'm attracted to moderately lightly hairy guys in everyday life with rough masculine features. But to lay my pipe in an ass, I love naturally smooth guys hairless guys. Something about that new car leather smooth smell. lol.

I think guys who naturally have no body hair would be the ones to list themselves as "smooth" while guys who shave/wax/trim would stick to "light hairy" as if they listed "smooth" and they had even just the slightest bit of body hair growing back in that throws the "smooth" body description out the window.

I agree with what you say, but the reverse of this is true, also (hence my op).

When a guy is advertising as 'lightly hairy' and I meet up with him, I expect to see a few strands of hair somewhere on his body below his neck. If those few strands he naturally grows are under his arms, and are shaved or waxed off when we meet, he's no longer 'lightly hairy' (again, not that any of this is a deal breaker for me!) 😜 I'll suffer gladly.

My current bf was an escort on RM when we met. He described himself as light hairy.  He has just a few chest hairs which lie flat, like his is just growing them, and a few around his nipples. Go down to the tummy and he gets hairier just above the navel. From that point on down he is pretty hairy. Thick bush, very hair legs, butt cheeks and ass crack. Even his feet.  I've never been attracted to this look before but his dark brown eyes and thick Venezuelan accent when he said "look at me!" while my ankles were behind my ears kind of sealed the deal.  But I digress.   I don't know if I would call him light hairy or hairy. He's light above the waist but definitely hairy below.

I usually prefer naturally smooth guys, which means virtually no hair on their chest, legs, ass, etc. although I want a little natural bush and thin treasure trail.  Just my preference

First, you have great taste; he looks really good. Second, I think you're right. He looks smooth or shaved. Maybe he does have some hair but shaves it sometimes. I echo others who say to ask (if it's a deal breaker to you).

In another thread, I mentioned my most recent encounter with one of my all-time favorite masseurs. He has an incredible body, handsome face, provides a wonderful experience and really is a pleasure to be with for 90 minutes (interesting conversationalist). If I had any complaint, it's his lack of any body hair below his neck - completely smooth. Since he's very open about himself, I thought I'd ask about this when I met up with him a few weeks ago. He didn't mind the question at all, and wanted to share. (I can tell he loves when people ask him about him, and make a more personal connection with him - not just a massage and HE).

He said that when he was in high school, and all his friends and classmates started growing bushes on their dicks, underarm hair, and hair on their chest, he had nothing. He admitted he was self-conscious about this when they were in the locker room after gym or track meets  - being a senior in HS and no hair on his body (though he was growing facial hair). He talked about this with one of his friends, and his friend assured him he was a 'late bloomer'. He went through college the same way in his late teens / early 20s - getting dressed in the locker room and nothing but a few hairs around his dick, a few hairs under his arms and around his nipples (yet he was able to grow a beard / mustache). Meanwhile, his friends had nice bushes on their dicks and under their arms, and by then, they were even trimming them down. He then noticed the more muscled guys were shaving everything off, and even though he wasn't a huge muscle guy, he decided to do the same. Whatever light hair grew in, he'd shave it off clean. And at 39, that's what he's been doing (he said once a week) - shaving off the straggly hair which comes in under his arms, on his chest, or around his dick. He has a nicely trimmed beard / mustache.  He advertises as 'naturally smooth', as the hair he shaves off is so light it leaves no stubble behind. He told this story so sweetly and innocently, it was actually erotic to me - and I got so hard on the massage table listening to him.

What was ironic was that I was his first appointment for the day (mid-afternoon) and he told me he had just shaved all the stragglers off before I got there (which is why he was running a few minutes late). I told him next time if this happens, wait until I get there - I want to see him shave it off. (He just laughed, so who knows).

I finally met Sensualista the other night (I posted about my experience under Spa). At the end of the appointment, I had to ask him the question - why does he post as 'light hairy' when he's obviously 'smooth' ?

He pulled me close to his chest, and said he hadn't 'shaved' that day. 'See that hair growing there ?' he asked. Honestly, I couldn't. Maybe a couple of hairs at the most, but no way 'light hairy'.  He raised his arms to show me under his arms, as he hadn't shaved - again, nothing visible. 'You really can't see those hairs?'  Nope. Nada. He seemed a little disappointed.
