Payment for Services Rendered

Simple question: How do you guys make payment to your provider? Do you hand it to the provider directly, leave it on a table, put it in an envelope, or something else? I always find this an akward exchange and I think the provider does too (I may be projecting).  I believe only once did a provider explicitly tell me where to place the payment and I believe this was the only time that I was asked to pay before the session started.

First time with the provider, I hand it to him in an envelope. If it's not the first time, it's in an envelope on a table easily visible.

I typically have the cash in an envelope and hand it to him. It's easier for me (I know where it is) and easier for, well...me. When I pay through CashApp or Zelle then I use the app, obviously.

I tell them what I have for them, and leave it on a counter in their presence, and do this when the door has been closed and we're alone - immediately. If I've seen the person regularly, I then leave my donation when we're done with the session.

The first time I see someone I pay them cash as soon as we are alone.  I hand the cash to them and ask them to count it in front of me.  For subsequent visits I prefer paying by e-transfer.

I make it less awkward (and I think the provider too), by conversing about something. I hand the money while talking or listening, and that's that.

Never say never, but I think I've never paid a provider other than by handing them cash at the end of the session.  It doesn't feel at all awkward.  I mean, we both know he's there for the money.  Why be so delicate about hiding it?

When I'm hosting a new provider I usually make it discretely visible on the night stand.     For incalls and repeat providers I have the fee pre-counted in a specific pocket and tip money available in another pocket should I decide to give a tip.  In both cases I will fold the bills once and put it into their hand while saying "this is for you".  Also nice to slip into their hand while having a final kiss.

I’m the same way except I’m a leave it on the nightstand kinda guy. I think it’s just become a habit that I never hand it directly to them even if I’m a regular customer.

I always put the money in an envelope that has their name on it in lovely lettering. I make it a point of presenting it to them before I depart. Many times they look at the lettering and say, “ Aww. That’s so sweet. Thanks a lot.” 😊
