Most states have a Son of Sam law, which allows the state to confiscate all profits (book deal, film rights, paid appearances) and hold them in escrow.  The victim or their family are then notified, and they can sue for the money.

New York is one of those states...

If his husband has stuck by him, I think the best outcome for him would be if his husband had separate assets and he can financially depend on his husband.  Not that I think no one would support a return to a porn immediately, but I'm not sure the legal system will allow him to do that

Apparently his husband is still running a porn business (without underage content we can assume).

No respectable studio will hire him. No respectable performer will collaborate with him. No respectable independent porn platform will host him, so he should probably reactivate 4MyFans or start something like that. Whether or not he likes it or wants it, he would be doomed to downgrade his career deep down to the margins of the marginal market.

I will hire him!   Woof!

I assume he's got some skills outside of sex that he's developed along the way, but is anyone going to hire him?

I seem to remember he worked as a bartender before getting into porn but I could be confusing him with someone else.

BREAKING NEWS:

Bozo attended today's hearing at Federal Court. Sadly, the only ones in the gallery were Bozo and a female reporter from the NY Post. No husband, no family, no friends, no ex-fans, and no Austin Wolf groupies. Wolf must have asked his hubby and family to stay away. Bozo knows why..... The government dropped a bombshell. They were/are about to charge Wolf with the additional charge of enticing a minor for sex. This is a far more serious charge than the original charges of possession, receipt, and distribution of child pornography.

Wolf entered the courtroom looking noticeably less muscular than in the past. He looked well fed, but his face and body seemed puffy/chubby. He was wearing a baggy tan prison jumpsuit, but he was clearly less buffed than the Austin Wolf we all knew. He was also clean shaven. Bozo had never seen him with a smooth face before. The chubby, clean shaven face made him look much younger than 44 - almost boyish, even sympathetic. He was handcuffed and shackled at his wrists and ankles. He was looking down at the floor as he was being led to his seat.

The proceedings began with a lot of legal discussion between the judge and the attorneys.  When they finally got down to the charges, Wolf pled (or is it pleaded?) guilty to the one count of "enticement of a minor (15-years old) for oral sex".  In exchange, the government agreed to drop, or at least set aside, the other charges. The judge explained that with a guilty plea, Wolf will face a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years + 5 years supervised probation. Maximum sentence is life. The federal sentencing guidelines call for a sentence of 188 months - 235 months for this crime; however, the judge has the discretion to sentence Wolf from anywhere between the 10-year mandatory minimum to the maximum of life in prison. There was also a fine, and forfeiture of certain assets.
Wolf will also have to register as a sex offender.

At the point where the judge asked Wolf to explain why he was guilty, Wolf started to read a statement (likely written by his attorneys) - contacting the minor, engaging in the act, etc., Wolf broke down and started crying uncontrollably.

The actual sentencing will take place on September 29th. Between now and then, there will be a report from the Department of Probation, and both sides will make their written arguments to the judge on suggestions for sentencing.

If the judge follows the sentencing guidelines, Wolf will be around 60 or more when he is released.

No matter what we think of his moral depravity in soliciting sex with minors and the underage Ipornography charges that have now been dropped, at a human level this is a tragic outcome for a guy that seemingly had a lot going for him.

His life as he knew it is now essentially over and he faces what are some of the best years in a man’s life in prison. I’ll probably be dead by the time he gets out, if he survives in prison. His fate means little to me personally but I hate to see anyone’s life ruined.

His? Or the children's life he ruined?

Oh no a fucking perv had what was coming to him how horrible /s

Hopefully he rots in jail or the other inmates do what they usually do with child molestors.

I find your vindictive comments lamentable. He has pled guilty to soliciting oral sex with a 15 yo. We don’t know all the circumstances but many 15 yos are sexually active. Where he crossed the line was getting mixed up with someone so young.

Who cares if the 15yo is sexually active? It's ILLEGAL and WRONG.

Vindictive comments? I have no sympathy for pedophiles. He plead guilty to that charge so the OTHER charges would be dropped the ones where he's sending and sharing even WORSE content with younger kids.

Why do you defend a pedophile? Hmm?

That was only the one act to which he pleaded guilty.  There was apparently a mountain of child porn evidence in the government's hands which most likely involved a lot of kids younger than fifteen, activities to which he somehow contributed.  That is heinously perverted.

The NY Post just posted its article about the Austin Wolf hearing on its website.
Most of it is pretty accurate, though Bozo differs with the reporter's description of Wolf as "buff". Also, the article says the sentencing will be on September 9th. Bozo recollects the sentencing date as  September 29th.

Also, the person interviewed in the article, described by the reporter as "a former fan", is, in fact, yours truly, the beloved Bozo T. Clown.

Austin Wolf has been held in custody since he was arrested a year ago for allegedly exchanging hundreds of child porn videos.

Those 2 things aren't necessarily the same thing.  Let us all consider our hobby of hiring men for sex, which is illegal almost everywhere in the US, before we cast stones saying that because something is illegal one shouldn't do it.

Thanks for sharing this perspective.  I was on a jury for a trail where the stepfather was accused of molesting his stepdaughter several times,  some before her 14th birthday and some after.  The reason her birthday was important is because his actions carried less severe charges when she was over 14.

And to think a little more than a century ago, it was legal and common for 30 year old men to marry 12 year old girls.  But definitely for not two 30 year old men to marry each other.

Disclaimer:  I'm not advocating for laws or penalties to be changed one way or the other.  I'm just saying that laws and morals don't always align, especially personal morals.

(Now queue the onslaught of attacks calling me perverted for not reading everything I wrote in context)

Is not the same, what we do here is between TWO CONSENSUAL adults that the government has no role interfering with. A 15 year old cannot legally consent.

Stop defending pedophiles.

I don't believe anyone here is defending pedophiles.  Objectively, AW's life is much worse now than it was before.  That can MAYBE be considered 'sad' on a purely objective level.

However, the fact that he victimized at least one person - and more than likely was involved in all sorts of illegal sexual activities - means that his present circumstances are just.  He did this to himself, and he will pay the price for the decisions he made.  But rather than seeing his situation as 'sad',  I see it as a completely avoidable waste.  He seemed to have everything going for him and he threw it all away.  Maybe that is what the tears were about.  I don't know if they would have been for his victim, but one never knows.

Hopefully the silver lining - if there is one - will be the arrest of additional people who prey upon minors, by using the evidence obtained through AW's investigation/interrogation.

There's at least one other inaccuracy.  The prosecutor is identified as an ADA (Assistant District Attorney), but it's federal court, so she is an AUSA (Assistant United States Attorney).

15 yo kid?  Yeah, he's fucked.

And when his fellow inmates find out what he's in for, he's even more fucked...  And not in a fun, prison-fantasy sorta way.

Bleeding hearts can lament all they want about what could have been, but the bottom line is that he made very specific, very illegal choices and (thankfully) got caught.

The silver lining, if any, is that the people who helped him cover this up for many years will hopefully change their ways or face the same fate.  I'm sure a lot of his close associates are still under some form of investigation.
