viewing ownly Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 I was in a personally rare situation over the last week (but of course doesn't dawn on me until I'm back home) that I could've hired a masseur to come to where I was staying, which really opens up my possibilities tremendously, as many providers are "mobile only". Because I was in a gated complex, I wrongfully assumed I was unable to have a visitor in a home I didn't live in. There's a guy who I got into a heated text argument with who blocked me back in 2018 whom I saw two prior times. His number is the same today, as is mine. Once blocked, always blocked, or do blocks only last for a certain period of time? Does it vary from carrier to carrier, or when a phone plan renews, do you have to re-block those you had blocked previously? I'm guessing if I got no response (hypothetically), that the block from him is eternal, but a lot can change in six years, and with me it has. I know his likes from his former adult social media sites, and feel like the newer me would be to his liking. mrkileen, Monarchy79, marylander1940 and 5 others 1 1 4 2

rvwnsd Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 When someone blocks a number using an iPhone the blocked number remains blocked until the person unblocks the number. That being said, the time to move on has long since passed. mrkileen, Your Man in Arlington, Saabster and 5 others 8

+ poolboy48220 Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Having never blocked anyone on my phone, or been blocked (as far as I know) - how does that work? If you text someone who's blocked you, do you get a reply saying "This person has blocked you"? Or do you just assume from the lack of a response that you're blocked? CuriousByNature 1

Saabster Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Often you don't know for certain. However if both of you are iPhone users, your text to him will no longer be in blue (iMessage). Did you wrongfully assume not able to book an incall because it was a gated community or because it wasn't your home, or a combination of the two? What changed your mind about being able to hire there at a gated community? Sounds like an incall at that particular location was a missed opportunity to reconnect with him. If that's true, does it matter whether he blocked you?

Not that it matters, in the long run. More likely than not you don't know. That's kind of the point of blocking you, letting you go and you figure it out. It can become a sensitive topic. Some people do not handle rejection too well, and in some instances it can escalate into violence and stalking. A psycho who gets a message of being blocked might react violently and might cause harm to the person who blocked. Edited August 29, 2024 by soloyo215 rvwnsd, mrkileen and pubic_assistance 2 1

+ JamesB Posted Wednesday at 04:32 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:32 PM I’m not a IOS user so I may be wrong but as far as I know: Blue: When both sender and recipient use Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac) with iMessage enabled and an internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular data). Green: When messaging non-Apple devices (e.g., Android), iMessage is off, or there's no internet (falls back to carrier SMS). LookingAround and MikeBiDude 2
+ mds1 Posted Friday at 07:21 PM Posted Friday at 07:21 PM I had a guy block me once. We both use iPhones and had iMessage. When I tried to message him after he blocked me, the messages were green (as though he no longer had an iPhone). I did some research and found this is what happens when you get blocked when both of you have iPhones and iMessage.

I know his likes from his former adult social media sites, and feel like the newer me would be to his liking. Three years ago I canceled an appointment with provider while I stood in his acute messy toney apartment. After I left and got inside of my auto, he began to text me with lots of cursing, etc. Some of his communication turned me on so that I would have returned. Because I was in San Francisco and had no idea as to how I should return, I went back to my hotel. Well, he blocked me on RM only to reopen to me on two distinct occasions. I'd desired to reconnect but have been wary. Thus I guess I'll continue to admire his photos in his RM ad and remember that fabulous view that he gave me prior to going to his living room where he stood. (After I'd come up his stairs and into his foyer, he was in the living room. I asked to use his bathroom; he directed me there, but after I opened the door, I looked to my right and down into his living room where he stood naked--showing off his fabulously sculpted ass and legs and his 9 inches of lush uncut meat! My heart began to palpitate; my mouth quite moist, and my ass said: "Damn, I am going to take all of "that" and then some." Out of guilt-- I mailed him his fee; unfortunately (via messages at this site) he claimed that he never received it. He responded here after I'd written about his and my experience: some "queens" reported my posting; he responded. Since your experience was negative--I'd give second and third thoughts regarding a re-connection! There are definitely others who perhaps can provide a similar or an extra ordinary time.
