Note: I started as a client in 2010 using platforms like RentBoy primarily while living in the NE of the USA. Within the last year or so I started hobbying as a provider as I generally prefer older/daddy types and ideally with wives/girlfriends or more generally just having a life of their own.  Plus, I find all apps repulsive (as maybe I had just about everyone I wanted from the apps across all apps already? ☺️).

So, what’s on offer with STG (linked above) is generally going to be much cheaper than RM but also more risky sexual wellness wise as well as potentially physically and mentally (as you’ll find as you start reaching out to those men and women on that site).

If you've flown people in before please give me some pointers.  I have been hiring since I was in my late 20's but am flying a provider in for the first time in a few weeks.  We texted several times before speaking on the phone. I liked what I heard and I've enjoyed staying in touch until he arrives. What if I discover within a few hours I've made a big mistake?  Or what should I be on the lookout for?  He travels around like many RM providers but says he usually shows he will be in a particular city on certain dates.  If he gets good reaction and appointments he rents and air bnb. He's very young, so I am not sure if this is the first time he has had someone bring him to them.

I would just say its a risky move to fly in a provider for a first meet. Might be $$$ wasted. I only fly in my regulars - same with multiple days hire or trip.

Is that a good thing? I doubt guys place an ad because they are horned up and want to have fun but because they need money. Besides if something goes wrong there's no way to identify the "provider", no customer service to report to, IP address, CC on file, etc. Is like going to Meridian Hill Park here in DC but even more anonymous.

Your choice if that's what you want but at least meet them in a public place. Good luck! 

RM is a bit formal but it's also safer.

All we can do is minimize it to the best of our knowledge and abilities. More reliable sites like RM have had a few bad apples, causing bad experiences to some clients. It's a matter of what level of risk we are comfortable with. I agree that some sites are safer than others. STG looks terrible and not that professionally organized (not to mention that it doesn't look like the administration monitors what people post).

This is not a recognized profession, leave alone protected or regulated. Caution and precautions are key at all times.

I will fly guys in that I have previously hired on my travel dates. Yes, flying someone in that you have not met before is a high-risk endeavor IMHO.  I would also feel more comfortable sticking with flying in an older provider if I was going blind. I have had a guy that I had met twice previously fuck me over and scammed me out of money. Lesson learned. Be smart, think twice and good luck!

RM is a bit formal but it's also safer. 

I had the best hires from Craigslist! I do realize I was very lucky though. I live in a military and my God, those poor Navy boys would line up at my front door... Oh those were the days.

Here in the inner cities guys on CL used to be mostly ethnic and certainly not in the military.

I hired more off Craigslist and Adam4Adam than Rentboy or, later, Rentmen.  I hired a lot of guys who never ended up advertising on any of the major escort or masseur websites.

Misrepresentations happen in dating/hiring.

Hiring from CL was asking to get mugged. I am glad you beat the odds.
