I understand both, actors’ union rules and MPAA extremely detailed regulations prohibit directors and producers from having an actor appear fully erect while filming any scene in the nude. Unless it’s porn, of course, where all these regulations do not apply. They’re even stricter now after #MeToo, requiring producers to hire so-called “intimacy coordinators” for such scenes. Anyhow, I guess it’s more exciting to think that what you see might actually be a fully erect penis from a gifted actor.
