My 80yo mother and I watched a new show on Netflix - A MAN IN FULL.  Terrible.  It was just BAD.  It's a shame.  Diane Lane and Jeff Daniels.  Google it.  Reviews are mixed.

...BUT....

In the closing minutes of the show, one man fucking another man's ex-wife, argument starts, man flashes fully erect penis.... and it's a beaut', fight scene.....  Video below. When did fully erect, rather large penises on Netflix shows become a thing?  It was quite a shock.... Mom was like... Damn, that's a beautiful penis!  I know where I got my taste from.

I feel bad that so many actors have to reveal so much of themselves in their shows these days.  But I guess making lots of money showing your private parts is much better than the stress and frustration many of us deal with at our jobs on a day-to-day basis.

Women have had to show their tits and twats for decades for unnecessary sex scenes (which I have always found to be cringey), to allow the directors and producers to get their rocks off…. It’s about time the guys have finally got to drop trou. And show us some goods.

Colbert interviewed Jeff Daniels last week, which made me check this out.

Good acting of complex characters throughout, I thought. Timeless fable of the menace of the unchecked male ego. No one in it is the hero. Except for Pelphrey’s stunt cock.

It must be a prosthetic or enhanced in post with CGI. I understand both, actors’ union rules and MPAA extremely detailed regulations prohibit directors and producers from having an actor appear fully erect while filming any scene in the nude. Unless it’s porn, of course, where all these regulations do not apply. They’re even stricter now after #MeToo, requiring producers to hire so-called “intimacy coordinators” for such scenes. Anyhow, I guess it’s more exciting to think that what you see might actually be a fully erect penis from a gifted actor. Dream on, folks! 😆

What a coincidence! I watched the final episode last night. I was pretty shocked too. I loved the Tom Wolfe novel and thought the series was decent.
