Figueroa7778
I would say when you get priority scheduling. I can gauge that when I am able to do same day scheduling with a provider even with very short notice and never get canceled. Being a "regular" has a cash flow implication from the point of view of the provider (they will always bet on the customer who gives them sure earnings). If I can text you requesting an appointment for Sat afternoon, and really the only details we need to iron out are the specific time, I consider: 1) you a quality provider that remembers me and my needs; and 2) myself a "regular" who has seen you enough, that you remember me. + DrownedBoy
A regular is someone who knows me personally, who I know personally, knows exactly what I'm into, and someone with whom I have mutual respect. It's someone that I can text, ask if they're available at x o'clock, and schedule with no fuss. I'd say I hire a regular at least 4 times a year, while others I hire 10+ times a year. When you have several regulars, you can't see them every month, especially when they travel. + JamesB
I'd define a regular as someone you meet about once a month on average. For instance, if I consistently see a traveling provider every time they're in town, I'd consider them a regular. Likewise, if they consistently see me whenever I'm in their area, it works both ways. + DrownedBoy, Your Man in Arlington, Simon Suraci and 1 other 3

Trick
I consider myself a regular to a provider who visits my city regularly. He’d contact me before each visit so he can reserve the time slot that works best for me. There were times when he even arranged his trips and schedule to fit mine. thomas, buckguy, Saabster and 3 others 4

The corollary would be if you visit their home turf on a semi-periodic basis (and they're not a frequent traveler) and you usually try to schedule them. Noting that you're a regular visitor upfront may be helpful. A consideration to be made is that long-term providers will ask questions that might get at whether someone will repeat. Providers who are in it for the short-term and those who don't want to deal with clingy clients will not do this. Simon Suraci
+ keroscenefire
I think "regular" is pretty subjective and might even depend on client vs escort. Like as a client, I honestly would consider a "regular" to be anyone I see multiple times a year. That might only be 3-4 times a year. But to the escort that could be just an occasional client. Unfortunately I don't really have the budget to hire multiple times in a month and never would get a "regular" that I meet even monthly. But I have built a good rapport with several guys and definitely feel like we are somewhat "regulars" to each other. I definitely think about them if/when I am considering a bigger hire. + APPLE1 and Simon Suraci 1

Simon Suraci
It varies on context. Many of my clients of course live in my city and see me on a regular basis, such as monthly or quarterly. A client hiring me only twice or less per year I generally do not consider a regular. Clients in my city who see a bunch other providers and hire me again many months later, only to see them again after they cycle through their long list of guys - those are not regulars. I don’t mind that they hire others. That’s only natural, but it means that they are not seeing me as often, even though it would be very easy for them to do so. The issue is neither how often they are willing/able to hire nor travel distance. They just don’t want to hire me as frequently as they do someone else, or they have many different guys in rotation. Which is fine. But they are not what I consider regulars. Once a month on average is a good general baseline I consider to be a regular. I have many monthly clients. Clients traveling to my city, or me to theirs is a bit different. I see some clients who visit my city on a monthly basis which in the same straightforward way I consider regulars. Or some travelers see me as little as a couple times a year, but every time they are in town, they make sure to prioritize booking an appointment with me. Some of my regulars in Dallas booked me about once a month (sometimes more frequently), and they still book me in San Diego whenever they visit. They may not see me as frequently anymore, but I still consider them regulars. Any sustained period a client hired me on a consistent, regular basis, I will always consider a ‘regular’. One client told me recently that any time I am anywhere on the east coast that he will travel to see me in any city no problem. He was a regular in Dallas and still is, as far as I am concerned. We have a great connection and although he still hires others occasionally, he considers me his top choice whenever and wherever I am available. He travels frequently for his work and so the only thing keeping him from hiring me monthly or more is his travel schedule and travel distance. That’s a good regular. Clients I reach out to when I am going to be in their city I consider regulars if they hire me more than once. I still have people texting me from cities I visited last year asking when I am visiting their city again. Those too are regulars. Recently a client was visiting from out of state and hired me twice in the same weekend. He was delightful. I had never met him before that weekend but I consider him a regular. I am positive based on our connection that whenever I visit his city he will hire me again. One client in Dallas used to see me weekly, sometimes twice or more per week for therapeutic massage with a HE. He was very guarded and did not like to connect. Very little chatter, very little in the way of physical or emotional connection. Did not like anything more than the standard ending, and even then only after many visits was he even comfortable receiving that part (which he enjoyed thereafter). He never tipped. He only ever contacted me with about 15 mins notice. If I wasn’t available immediately, forget it. It was an odd dynamic. I felt at times his demanding, erratic booking behavior was disrespectful toward me but I came to accept that it is what it is, and am glad to have the regular work. I appreciate that he visited me often, more so than any other client to date. However, I can’t consider him a regular, because when I visit Dallas he will be the last person on my list to contact. He might fill in a gap when he texts last minute but I can’t count on him to prioritize his time with me. There’s no way he would book ahead and plan his schedule around a time I had available. Sometimes considering someone a regular is less about how frequently he sees you, and more about how much he values your work, your time together, your mutual connection, and you as a person. + JamesB, + keroscenefire and mike carey 2

+ DrownedBoy
After reading @Simon Suraci I should add that I purposefully avoid seeing any one escort too often, since I like variety. Simon Suraci
7 minutes ago, DrownedBoy said: I like variety Fair enough. I know many here feel the same way. I don’t knock anyone for hiring many guys, having a stable rotation, or even a continuous string of one-and-done experiences. To each their own. There is no correct way to hire. You might fit someone’s definition of a regular, or you might not, depending on how often you hire and/or what kinds of experiences you prefer to have. Sometimes you don’t want to get that close to, or too comfortable with, one person. Hiring is a way to meet your needs on your own terms. When you can text a provider and they know exactly who you are and what you need, and the only thing you have to confirm is the time…I personally would consider that a regular. + APPLE1 and + DrownedBoy 1

Solution Rod Hagen Posted May 1 Solution Share Posted May 1 You may see someone reliably, ie once or twice a year when you visit his city, but for shorthand lets tag regulars as once a month or more. Reliables are good too! Simon Suraci

That's why I have a regular who works 24/7 and arrives within an hour. If somebody is late, they're easily replaced. A lesson in economics 😁 EDIT I actually have 2 or 3 regulars who are available and quick enough to take someone's shift. They get the money that the lazy escorts throw away.
