Medin Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 Does anyone have a clue what he means by "solvent"? Having the means to pay for his services?

wsc Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 Hope, for his sake, he has other reasons for visiting NYC, because, with his Big Ego, I don't see a bright financial future for him in the Big Apple. TorontoDrew and SirBillybob 1 1
Saabster Posted February 6, 2024 Posted February 6, 2024 More than a lesson in marketing, he needs a lesson in English, especially grammar and punctuation. 🙄
Luv2play Posted February 6, 2024 Posted February 6, 2024 (edited) He’s a newbie on RM I assume unless he changed his name. He uses two words to specify his intended audience: solvent and VIP. I would note he is targeting NYC and it is true there is a lot of money there, specifically in banks. As Willie Hutton once said “I rob banks because that is where the money is”. I would say he had the proper focus if he is intending to make a lot of money. The question is, are his marketing skills up to snuff. There is nothing in his ad either through photos or text to indicate you could take him out in public to fancy places. There is also nothing to indicate what kind of services he provides that would deserve high fees. And finally his single photo doesn’t suggest an elite type of escort, in my humble opinion. Maybe he thinks rentmen prohibits that particular word! 🤣 I think he brought that expression from Spanish or Portuguese; it means without debt or financially responsible but colloquially means someone with a lot of money. 19 hours ago, wsc said: Hope, for his sake, he has other reasons for visiting NYC, because, with his Big Ego, I don't see a bright financial future for him in the Big Apple. English is not his first language, most escorts usually ask a native speaker to read the ad in order to make necessary corrections. Obviously I don't think he cares about what others think... 19 hours ago, wsc said: Hope, for his sake, he has other reasons for visiting NYC, because, with his Big Ego, I don't see a bright financial future for him in the Big Apple. Yes, he should aim for markets with few or simply no other choices. Edited February 6, 2024 by marylander1940 Your Man in Arlington, Marc in Calif and SirBillybob 3
Martin M Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Apart from his grammar, anybody knows about his massage performances? He is the partner of Jay_Zeus (excellent reviews) for 4hands.
mentalkink Posted January 15 Posted January 15 I didn't have my glasses on when reading the ad at first , I read "solvent "as "soylent " and was initially amused with the connection to the 1972 movie starring Charleton Heston . "Solvent VIPS are people !!!!" + azdr0710, BSR, + WstVlgChris and 4 others 1 6
CuriousByNature Posted January 15 Posted January 15 He leaves me with the impression that he was very angry when he wrote the text for his profile... BSR 1
jcmiami1 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I’m Cuban and my interpretation of solvent from Spanish to English is “having the means” - in this case is having the means to pay - it appears he might have been financially screwed over by clients in the past. liubit and + JamesB 1 1
+ PhileasFogg Posted January 17 Posted January 17 The tone has equal sense of both arrogance and tone deaf ignorance. his issue will be a very narrow niche.
Whippoorwill Posted January 17 Posted January 17 This poor boy needs the steady hand of an older experienced man to teach him the niceties of life. This one is more than I would be up for, but I have often given young men marketing advice, helped re-write their ads, provided financial advice, boyfriend advice, etc. This is one beauty of a May - December relationship, paid or not. The older man provides life guidance and the younger man provides searing hot sex. Works for me. namechanged 1
namechanged Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Hi there! Sorry I'm late, native spanish speaker here. "Solvente" on this kind of sites and apps, means: People that can afford VERY EXPENSIVE things, like in this case "Him" lol. Ali Gator and Whippoorwill 1 1
