NYC - Massage Parlors w/ Older Masseurs

The conversation here is about older providers AT MASSAGE PARLORS (or whatever those businesses are supposed to be called). NOT guys on the apps. I am well aware that there are PLENTY of old daddy types on the sites.

My impression at the "parlors" throughout New York is that *young and cute* is ALWAYS who's sitting up front because that's what sells !!   I have, however, been proven wrong over-all as others have mentioned a few places that have an old man or two. But I would point out this is by far, still the exception to the rule, so my "ignorance" as you call it is a matter of paying attention to the conversation and not wandering off on a tangent.

The result of the thread is that there's exception to every rule. There's a few oldie but goodies scattered here and there at the "Men's Spa" massage places. Probably hiding in the back because I've never seen one.

It's really a distinction without a difference when you liken older MT's as old food and

I suppose you can call it "just paying attention".  But when you refer to a group of people as "old food" or are repulsed by "old men touching you" you just reveal a vapid mind.  You're free to disrespect all the groups that you want. If that's what makes you feel valid in life, judge on, man.

my massage therapist doesn't work for a spa. but he his in his 60s. and have had two guys in the past 10 years at spas. not in the U.S. also in their 60s. last time was a duo in Italy. all great massage therapists. great mature guys. and always more than a tug for an end to the massage. not sure why there apparently aren't more older men at spas in nyc. its a shame. and a shame the above discussion above isn't about how to remedy the situation. why not ask the spas?

News flash:

People are attracted to what they are attracted to. EVERYONE makes judgements about what and who they are attracted to ( and who they are not ).

MOST gay men want YOUNG GOODLOOKING providers.

That's why MOST ALL "Men's Spas" staff their business with YOUNG guys.

FACT

We've heard lots of opinions here as to whether NYC is a landscape for the old-man fetish at spas..and the conclusion was that MOST older providers are working independently. There were a few (very few) exceptions to the rule mentioned which is what the conversation is about: "Massage Parlor with older masseurs".

Too many people here, keep rattling-on about the merits of hiring an old man without providing any suggestions about where to find one in a Men's Spa in New York.

Please stay on topic.

??? EZEtoGRU. its called a discussion. an adult discussion. and with that push the discussion further or wrap it up? if enough men contact spas looking for older masseurs then it will happen. but, like i have said and public_assistance too. hire a an older private provider. they exist in nyc in large numbers.

what i am curious about is why older providers have to be available at spas? is about the money? have no idea. is a fetish? clueless. going to my older therapist next week. into his 60's. a porn stud. nicest guy. top notch massage. top notch banter. for me even though i go on about age its about our rapor. we are similar in age and life experiences. is that the fetish? have no idea. ??? who knows

Agreed, internet has gotten rid of the "middleman" in many professions including porno where providers now can own their own material and post it online by themselves. Do we need a pawn shop if we can post an ad on CL or Ebay? Etc.

We can always fantasize about an ideal world but we must face facts. I'm sure some parlors have one or two older masseurs who are still in the business because they want to. I usually go for guys in their late 20's early 30's but I have a regular in town who is in his late 40s and still looks great.

To each his own!

Unfortunately there's a totalitarian desired to block/ban others from posting. Sad but true!

The OP @thelovebroadcast and others can report inappropriate posts for their removal.

Back to subject!

The market rules our lives by default, even in NYC some can't get enough choices.

Considering many won't hire a masseur in his 60's you could start a thread praising him on here to give him some business. Your choice!

@LookingAround  @PileDriver

Hey guys!  I listed all the recs on the first page of this thread, but this thread is now three pages deep!  Ha ha.  Here it is with a couple updates:

W Man Spa on 30th
Ocean Bodywork in Brooklyn
East Men Spa
Yeah Man Spa (LES)
27 Men Spa
Time's Square Men's Massage
Bonus suggestion was Russian Turkish Bath House, but a) I already knew about them and b) I don't find the guys who work there are as fun as they used to be pre-pandemic.
Renew on 8th Ave and 48th St
Rainbow Spa on 49th St between 8th & 9th

Tai Chi spa in East Village

Keep in mind that there are explicit M4M massage-type places (like Men Spa, W Man Spa, etc.), but I have to say after living in New York my entire life, it never occurred to me that there are only about 10 of those in the city and there are SO MANY "regular" parlors, so it made me realize... I think the best route is just to keep this conversation going AND just call around and ask for "older masseurs."  I've done that with all the parlors listed above and it's honestly less awkward than I thought it'd be.  I think I felt a little weird calling especially since women work at those parlors as well, but every one of them (except W Man on 30th) was answered by a woman and they were always very direct and nice about it.

Thanks to all the guys who have messaged me privately for sharing their recs and experiences.  I'm going to see Peter at Renew next!

but I do prefer them to be from a different country.

Ouch... Discrimination based on national origin.

It might be hard to keep foreign-born men over 40 employed at massage established because the work involved in renewing their work visas.  Many young men come over with student visas.

with that said. have to admit it would be a dream to have an nyc spa with all the providers over 60. does anyone have financing available? 😈

Does anyone want to put their money where their mouth is?

Not trying to drag this out of subject but I've always talked about some of the billionaires on here creating a bunny ranch for men in Nevada.

It's official most Americans think they're too good to lift their fat asses from the sofa to drive Uber or lower their pants for money, they also lack work ethic to do most manual labor.

excellent idea - bc gay men with the ability to travel will go to rural Nevada and see guys that can’t make it in the big cities.  makes total sense.

You don't get sarcasm, do you?

In Nevada or anywhere else where it's legal. Massage so far is allegedly legal.

Says the person who got OFF topic.

The OP specifically asked for spas with Older masseurs.

You decided to give your personal opinion of what you thought about older providers.

Not once did anyone in this thread ask for your personal opinions on age or personal preferences.

But I do want to congratulate you. I want to award you with the “Troll of the thread” award. 🍾🏆🥇🏆🎖️ as you have gone above and beyond, to not only veer off topic, but to insult other members on this thread.

I commend you for your outstanding efforts.

Congratulations!!!

-and to the moderator… we don’t need this thread closed, nor do we need any adversarial actions. If you want to hold someone accountable. It’s @pubic_assistance. His exchanges in the threads clearly prove this.-

Good Day Everyone!!! 😘
