She was on our side from the beginning. I’ve met her a few times and she was always warm and welcoming. I won’t include her infamous political stunt in that assessment, but her body of work overall is remarkable. For however you feel about her, better or worse, she’s an incredible talent and one of many women to defy the conventions and limitations of an historically male-dominated profession.
