Gen Z college grad Brielle Asero - who went viral after complaining about working a nine-to-five job - reveals she has been LAID OFF from startup and is now broke. But it's not her fault !  She's a victim, y'all !

The Gen Z college grad who made headlines after tearfully sharing her struggles adjusting to a nine-to-five job on TikTok has recently been laid off with no emergency fund.

Brielle Asero, who lives in New Jersey, revealed that she lost her first post-grad job, a position that took her five months to secure, in a recent video that has garnered over 500,000 views.

'I got laid off from my first post-grad job - the one that took me five months to find, and for which I moved to New York City,' she said, adding that it's not her fault.

I wouldn't necessarily state it the way Lucky has, but I share the same sentiment. Why is that news? If you don't have job readiness skills, if you resent having a 9-5 job (like most-to-all of us do), but refuse to shut up and do it anyway, you'll go broke unless there are priviledges in place.

What makes her so special or news worthy? Does she think that we working people love going to work? I had to learn to work the hard way since I'm first generation college graduate, and the only career advice my parents could give me was "Learn" (excellent advice, but nothing else). Was wonderful advice, but I did have to learn to work and behave properly in the workplace, sometimes the hard way. I did it, but prefer not having to do the 9-5 thing, however, I shut up and do it because the alternatives to the 9-5 thing are not suitable for me. How come I'm not in the news for it? In fact, I think that a success story like mine has more relevance than some stupid little brat complaining that she's broke. Grow the fuck up, that's my advice to her.

She's "trending" on social media with over 500,000 viewers. That in itself is 'news' - 500K are following her, or as it is said today : "influenced" by her. You're not in the news because you're not trending with 500K followers.

But back to Brielle - her followers (other Zoomers) empathized with her, saying they found themselves in the same position. None of her followers (from what was quoted) advised her to 'grow up' ; they just reinforced the fact that there is no life /work balance these days if you have to work 9 - 5 and commute to your job. They've joined her army, and want a better work-life.

Again, this is the current work force of 'new grads'. Thoughts & prayers go out to them if this is how they're beginning their adult life.

Who the fuck cares? This is another example of the dumbing down of our forums.

you can start all the threads you want to make us smarter.

500,000+ of her followers care...and empathize with her.

I watched a few weeks ago Matt Walsh making fun of her and he was right on about her little work ethic...

Yes, I follow Matt Walsh on YouTube and I agree with him 30% of the time.

Nine to five is work/life balance.  Try working 80 hour weeks.  Then she can complain.

I couldn't agree with you more! They think their lives are tougher than folks who lived through the Great depression.

I posted this video as an example but I dislike the use of the word "tranny".

How do you know none of them post here ?

I suspect they wouldn’t have the time 😎

After all, with complaining about work, discussing micro-aggressions, bemoaning the lack of mental health care and publicly describing their reduced or non-existent sex lives, how could they fit this all in?

None of them post here. I don't come here for this kind of information.

What makes you think we don't have millennials and generation Z folks posting on here as escorts or posters? Some of the posters are pretty entitled and sometimes sound like the folks @Ali Gator deals with on a daily basis in his job.

I'm sure this escort would agree with many of his generation about how tough life is in 2023.

One more time if you don't like a thread, you can report it, skip it or even better start one about the things you think we should be talking.

I think there are plenty of escorts / masseurs which we all deal with today who are of the Zoomer / Millennial generation. I like to know what they're thinking and where their 'headspace' is in 2023 (or should I say, '2024'). I deal with them on a daily basis at my job, and it's easier to relate to them now in my 'playtime'.

Whether they post here / lurk here - there's a great possibility. One thing is for certain - we discuss these Zoomers and Millennials every day when discussing our experiences with providers.

I am 80 years old and don't remember the Great Depression.  And I don't remember the Second World War either although my dad was apparently stationed in Europe and the Philippines. I was born in Austin Texas because he was traveling there

And yet....here you are

LOL - well done

some here feel a sense of entitlement to police the conversation and censor the topics and people they don’t like.

I guess not reading a thread that has no interest isn’t an option when one lurks/stalks these type forums as a full-time gig.  Life must be extremely boring & unfulfilling for whomever.
