You would think with 39 pages of providers though, that's a lot of competition. I can also point out another anecdotal observation. There are a lot of NY providers going all the way across the country to find clients. Wouldn't a city the size of NY 9 million be enough to meet that demand?

I'm slowly moving away from this hobby anyway; especially after last night at the local sex club. The number of hot guys I encountered willing to give up their beautiful booty, deep kissing, oral, body contact, and just for the $20 entry price was astounding! It was like an all-you-can-eat buffet! I even saw some hot providers there giving it for free in the sling room and there were at least 200 men at the event. What that tells me is just as inflation is affecting these providers, so are the clients and they are willing to find other means to fulfill their needs. So, yeah, we might be beating a dead horse here, but we gotta call it out for what it is.

What is this club, please? I'll be in NYC in a couple of weeks. TIA

$500 for 2 hours ($250 per hour)is what I pay and this is for ‘straight’ bodybuilders that do much more than just muscle worship. I wouldn’t pay $200 for 98% of the current crop on rentmen; and I live in NYC. There are a couple of exceptions that I would pay $300 an hour for!
Some of my faves are Dolph, Aaron Lazzaro, Christian Powers, Muscle Max, and Muscle Jackson… and a few more. Most will do an overnight for $800- $1000. There’s no way I can reconcile paying $500  an hour for anyone that’s not a pro Bodybuilder. Jmho

Providers are going to charge what the market will bear. We've had a lot of inflation, particularly in the big cities so costs are going up. That said, there are plenty of guys charging $250-$400/hour. I find if you go past the "Platinum" section on RM, the guys are more reasonable.

I agree with this point about "platinum" guys. This is a promotional tool and nothing else. There is as much to recommend in the "gold " guys as in the "platinum" imo.

I've often wondered what goes on in an overnight muscle worship date with a straight guy? Could someone please enlighten me?

It’s not just muscle worship! The only thing that seems to be off the table for most   - not all - of these guys is penetration. Most of them will let their guard down after a few sessions.

RENTMEN.EU

Pornstar Performer & Rentboy in Harrisburg, PA - Maxchas: Let’s get together and have some fun ;)

even this young man who’s full service charges $300 per hour and will give you a cheaper rate for multiple hours. Not my type. - I love them much bigger, but I’m sure you can see my point, not that you have to agree with it.

I recently hosted my two brothers at an incredibly expensive restaurant in Chicago for their upcoming birthdays. Sure, the tab was well over a grand, and the food/experience was amazing. We were there about two hours. So when I equate a culinary experience to an hour or so of mind-boggling sex with the man of my dreams, perhaps, it might not be all that much out of line. I’ll remember the time and the perfect Wagyu steak, plus the fun we had. But mind-blowing sex with a Hemsworth look-alike? Memories, man, memories forever.

They travel for different reasons and if they keep on doing it is because it makes sense. Certainly, there's plenty of money in NYC!

You recognized several escorts in the sling giving it for free? Even if you have such a memory that you saw "several" in the sling "giving it for free", they possibly were hired by the club to be there.

Maybe NYC is special but usually guys in sex clubs are not the most attractive ones. Possibly guys are moving away from Grindr after wasting so much time trying to get laid.

Slowly moving away? For a $20 you can go to a club and get any guy you want for free just do it.

I don’t ever ask a rate.  I give some details about myself, where I will be, and what I’m willing to donate.  I set the terms, they can choose to accept or decline.  I do it this way because I’m a grown ass man.

How much do you offer and does it change based on the guy's age, location, etc?

Sorry but that's a complicated and certainly unusual approach.

Inflation is high, in general, but not as high as many providers have made their rates -

Think about the current inflation rate for ordinary goods and services- roughly 8%

Think about the current provider inflation rate- (using rentmen as a guide) 25% to 50%.

It is ridiculous.

The NYC rate for the best looking guys was $300 or more in 2000. I personally paid that much IR more back then. We are not talking year over year inflation. We are talking many years. And you are using the overall CPI. The CPI for GOODS is often negative, and is currently much lower than the CPI for SERVICES. Think of how the prices of flat screen TVs actually go down, but tuition, haircuts, and eating at sit down restaurants do not. Being an escort should be compared to the CPI for services, which for human-based industries (say hairdressers) enjoy no technological means of increasing productivity per unit.

And BTW, this completely uncotroversial amongst economists, Wall Street analysts, or business leaders. Not one one former economic official from any presidential administration would dispute that service inflation has been higher than goods inflation for decades.

Was the "provider" joking or just wishful thinking?

Widely followed OF stars and porn stars do charge that and get that or more. Haven’t you seen all the other threads where we discuss how they can mak so much money online that they don’t need to meet in person unless it’s for a lot? There are like 50 threads in this.

And that, BTW, is a way Sex workers can increase productivity per man/hour (see my post above), they same way recorded music boosted the earnings of musicians. as for porn stars, it lets them disintermediate studios, distributors, video stores, etc., and potentially keep more earnings to themselves. Or if not, avoid dealing with multiple other people per project.

either way, it does cost that much now for some guys. And guys like me are willing to pay.
