Treat Williams, 71, RIP

Sad to hear. Handsome, hunky man. I first saw him in Hair, but loved him even more in The Ritz, which was set in a NYC bath house. A hilarious movie with lots of Treat in just a towel.

Treat remained more than a snack. 
 

He was respected in his work and loved by friends and family.

Another prominent poster and I went to the same college as Treat. Treat was older than me so I never was on campus during his time there.

He was making a turn and a woman cut him off.  He was thrown from his bike.

Everything I've been reading said he was a great person and friend.

As I read it, he was in Vermont, a car making a turn did not see him on the motorcycle and crashed into him.  He was the only one hurt.  He was airlifted to a N"Y"C hospital and did not survive his injuries.  He had a smoldering sexuality about him, even when I saw him recently in an episode of Blue Bloods, in which as an ex-cop and a friend of Tom elect's character, he was just quietly sexy.  At the end of the show, it was revealed his recurring character had cancer. he and Tom Selleck could have made quite the 70's porno duo.

He was airlifted to a hospital in Albany.

And I was older than Treat, so I never encountered him there either, but like Pensant, I was aware of him from his reputation as a performer in college.

Didn't know of him but he kept his looks and his wonderful hair all his life Must have led a good life. Sad really how it ended.
