Montreal - last minute updates?

Thanks yes, I guess it was over 20 years ago. I was so surprised there was one there and how uncomplicated, handsome and eager the guys were. Guess I can forget going back.

Just got back from Montréal a few days ago. Always a good time. I only made it out to the strip clubs the Saturday night of my visit. I checked out both Campus & Stock (each will hand-stamp if you ask, so you can leave & come back the same night).

Both were pretty busy and entertaining but the dancers at Stock were more my type looks-wise. I could definitely see the Campus men appealing to some customers, though. The Stock dancers were generally a lot more aggressive in trying to get me to go in the back for some private dances.
I did go in the back for a few at Stock with handsome, hairy Fredi (Freddie?), who wasn’t aggressive out front (but friendly in the back!). He’s not on their website but he does show up briefly in another dancer’s video sample (23 seconds into Gatuso’s). https://www.stockbar.com/en

Gatuso & Santiago each gave me their pitches to go in the back, and I suspect either would have been a lot of fun. I was just getting tired & didn’t want to go crazy with spending on my first night of the trip. (I thought I’d be back the next night, which unfortunately didn’t work out.)

Bbuck was also there and looking HOT too. He had some facial stubble and was quite acrobatic during his turn on the pole. I think he also had some chest hair (a plus for me). 
I didn’t notice much panhandling or apparent junkies in the Village that Saturday night, despite what I’ve seen in some other Montréal posts on here. 
The ArriveCAN and U.S. MPC (Mobile Passport Control) apps each made getting through the Montréal airport faster. (MPC is only for U.S. passport holders, I believe.)

The 747 bus into town was packed on Saturday night but had plenty of room Tuesday morning going to the airport. If you buy a 3-day pass for C$22, that’ll let you ride the 747 ($11 one-way if you only buy a ticket for that) as well as the metro unlimited for 3 days. For the 747 back, I bought a 1-day anywhere-Zone-A pass for $11, and that includes use of the airport bus.

(And besides being a quick, affordable way to get around, the Metro seems to have a lot of hot men riding it most of the time. Including some hot Middle Eastern guys in case you like them, which I do.)

The botanical garden is wonderful as ever, but I would eat elsewhere unless you’re a hardcore vegetarian or vegan. Their restaurant has gone all-veggie & I didn’t really care for the items I tried. 
   As for money: The exchange rate is great right now if you’re American. Hardly anywhere takes Discover, so make sure you have Visa or Mastercard.

I was in Montreal again last weekend. Stock was LOUD. Dancers were aggressive. Campus was a blast. HOT men .... Generous Men. Saw some from years ago. Happy Hour was VERY happy. No matter what  your opinion is about the Village and the Bars ... everyone should go at least once to have the experience.

Is anyone planning to be in Montreal this weekend and interested in checking out the "until 6am" event? I've already booked everything for Halloween weekend 🎃, but this event sounds so tempting that I'm considering evening flights. However, I've been to past "events" that didn't turn out any different from a regular day, making it difficult to change all my weekend commitments for a last-minute flight. Decisions 😩😝

That's been my experience more often than not.  But I've never been to (or heard of) an event like this one.

Also this weekend is a the Black and Blue circuit party... the village should be hopping ;)!

Was there a few years ago.. Had lots of fun. Lots of cruising on the streets and outside the queues in front of the sex clubs.

The Saturday-to-Sunday “White Night” event is for The Village zone, not just Campus. It’s a pilot project, and the date is aligned with Paris’ annual Nuit Blanche 1st Saturday of October. However, that might be co-incidental because most Canadian Thanksgiving weekends are the second weekend of October and I would think in future the White Night would correspond to Thanksgiving weekend and the now defunct Black&Blue event that formerly brought in circuit tourists.

I watch the Stock live internet feed quite frequently. I’ve noticed two things different in the last month or so:

1.  Many fewer women around…even on weekends. Have they instituted a new policy on females at the club?

2.  DJ “I love my job” has not been around at all.  There has been a new pretty ineffective DJ working for weeks now. Is the former DJ no longer working there?

I had to give up on the trip since I couldn't find a way to free up some commitments. Furthermore, I'm relieved I found out it's also a  circuit party, which I avoid at all costs- especially the gay ones.

Those muscle-bound twinks at circuit parties can be quite unfriendly unless they're "available “ They are not; and the ones who are too pretty or too young, or both. 
I'll stick with my already booked Halloween weekend trip.

Thoughts from first time visitor so take with a grain of salt. I arrived on Thursday and planed to visit Stock and  Campus on Thursday and Friday night.

First  a quick observation about the Village. The streets and bars were busy on Thursday evening. There were a significant number of unhoused and or impaired individuals on the streets. My reaction to their presence was sadness for their situation. I never felt threatened or harassed. My hope is to find a solution to help these individuals.

While the restaurants and streets were busy on Thursday night the clubs were not. I visited Stock first and what a disappointment. Only two dancers who were attractive and few customers. Stayed around for a while hoping it would get better. It did not so moved on to Campus.. totally different vibe. More dancers, customers etc. 

There was a steady rain on Friday night so the streets were less crowded but the clubs were much busier. I wanted to give Stock another chance but sadly nothing changed. On to Campus….wow! Beautiful men! The variety was unbelievable. I was approached many times for privates but after a courteous refusal they moved on. I did have a  three song private with a muscled dancer. He was very generous and I left with a smile on my face. 
 

I’ve visited many clubs over the years and Campus stacks up well. Hopefully, Stock will improve because options are nice.

It's interesting that despite all the hoopla and promotion of Stock these last few months on this forum, that Campus emerges as the "winner" between the two competing stripper bars which are only a block apart in Montreal. A winner at least in the review just given us by Fresh, who brought a fresh pair of eyes to the situation.

I will go a step further as it is essentially the end of summer and my assessment is based on 4 months of observations, a dozen or more rounds by decision so to speak. Campus. Subtract Malik’s sporadic presence, still Campus by a long shot.

Long-timers (like @Luv2play and me) know that the "winner" in the eternal Campus/Stock competition cycles and recycles over the years.  What I miss are those years when both places (not to mention Taboo) all had large stables of dancers worth spending time with, and not just on the occasional weekend night or two!

Exactly. During its hay day, many of Stockbar’s talent would also appear on maskurbate.com and menofmontreal.com. But those days are long gone (oh well maybe not that long but definitely Covid has greatly accelerated it)

I was in Montreal this weekend and paid a visit to Campus Friday evening after many years absence. Arrived around 8:30 and left at 10. There were over a dozen dancers and more came in for the 9 shift and a few might have left. They were all great looking, most my type, muscular but not muscle bound. Nice slim waists and medium height to taller. 

All friendly; I took a dance with Matt, who told me he has worked there for a number of years. Still seemed young. A hockey player, works in a factory and very good looking. I talked with a few others, Matthew and Alexandre, both nice looking and not aggresive. I didn't lead them on since Matt was enough to satisfy my lust lol.

I had had a workout with an escort in the afternoon so kept the number of dances to 3 with Matt. There is no cover on the door of each cabin so not like the old days when one could have a lot of fun.

About the women, there were only a few, maybe 3, when I arrived but they started piling in around 9:30. When I left at 10 there were 6 waiting to pay the cover $8. to come in. All very plain looking.

I didn't see woman taking a dancer to the back and I was sitting near the entrance to the private booths just beside the dj. Overall a very enjoyable experience for what it was. But for me I get more bang for my buck with escorts.

Had two wonderful ones for the weekend.

Oh and the weather was great, especially Saturday. Sunny and almost 20c. People were in shorts.

This is not dancer related but related to my trip to Montreal this weekend. When I left the hotel and picked up my car in the underground parking at the Hyatt in the Village, I had a flat rear tire. On a Sunday morning. You can imagine my consternation! 

Luckily I had thrown a can of instant repair and inflation in the trunk years ago(my Mercedes is 23 years old) but had never had occasion to use it. So I tried it and it worked, just as described on the can. It was good enough to get to a gas station which had a air pump so I topped it up.

I was able to drive home 120 miles at 60mph ( I didn't want to press my luck) and put the car in my garage. I only lost 20 minutes in my travel time from hotel to home. What a life saver that little can was! If you drive a lot, get one.
