When I started hiring, say around the year 2001, NYC had 200 escorts listed on Rentboy,  Today, Rentmen has 870 listings.  I would say that is a huge increase!

I know a few older guys in NYC who are gay. They often recant stories of multiple bars here in the City where 50% of the place was eager young escorts and the other half admirers.

Last evening I reflected on my "go-to-guy" who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and who I have been seeing off and on for almost five years now.  I think he's in his mid 30s although he lists his age as 28.  He's held up reasonably well and still looks damn good, but currently  my two faults with him are his smoking and his change of sexuality in his ad.

I know of an escort in San Francisco I met in the mid-90's, he was about 30 years old; 28 years later he's still at it!
