I have just arrived in Montreal, and my plan is to explore and check out Stock bar and Campus bar. My main focus, however, will be on Campus bar, as I’ll be there for the contest happening this weekend - not sure what type of contest they have but I will be sure to test /try throughfully each candidate   😁  Campus has a lot of promo in IG so it may be packed   I will report on how Campus bar is doing. And the boys. I’ll check Taboo ( used to be my 2nd favorite when they used to have Skater twinks)

Campus weekend

Thursday 25th:

I arrived at Campus at 9 pm, and it wasn't too crowded, just about 3 or 4 dancers. On Thursdays and Sundays, the club charges $6 and offers a coat check. On the following day 4 pm at Daddy’s Corner, it looked mostly the same, except for an additional bar on the right side. I think it has always been there, but it opened at 3 pm. The area in front of the stage was now dark.

back to Thursday night:

Then, there was a stunning young goth-like dancer, who could pass for . He had dark black hair, beautiful pale skin, and a tall, slender figure. We had a great time together. As the night progressed, more dancers appeared, about 12 dancer la by 11 :30ish pm. One of my favorite boys was a short, muscular blonde hottie, around 21 years old. As expected, he was in high demand, and it was hard for him to make it past the entrance to the lap room. But we managed to spend some quality time together. Another new dancer, who was also quite popular, caught my attention. By 11 pm, the place filled up, but it wasn't overwhelmingly crowded. There was a contest for the best upcoming stripper, although I don't think it was for this weekend. Malik announced it, and he presented the amateur stripper with an olive wreath /olive leaves crown. As a winner I hope he is included in the dancing schedule. Gorgeous Mediterranean 19/20ish  what a masterpiece of a guy or  at lest from far ;)

Next, I visited Stock Bar, which had also undergone some changes. They now had a $6 entrance fee and moved door entrance to the side, where the coat check was located. The layout of Stock is now narrower, and the large left bar is much smaller. At that time 11ish Inside, there weren't many people, and I only saw one new dancer, along with two others I recognized from my previous visits.

you are going to see a lot of 11insh PM but it was between 9 and 1:00 am

I then headed to Taboo, but it was quite slow, with only a couple of patrons. I spotted one hot young blonde dancer, and there were two more that I hadn't seen before. They seemed to fit into the fem twink category, which isn't really my type. It was better to stay at Campus where there was a nice atmosphere and a variety of dancers to suit different tastes.

Later, I went to Expose, but it was nearly empty, maybe just one dancer outside talking. So, I decided to go back to Stock Bar. It was still empty, and the only dancer I recognized was my old friend Casper. We decided to have a dance, but he seemed distant, so I chose to leave. As I walked outside near the Unity club, I came across two hot young guys smoking. They offered me a smoke since I had a couple of drinks i  was bold enough to talk to them, well, it. was also in the Stock / Unity club sidewalk, with plenty of people and the bouncers for each club. The boys said they were from Afghanistan, and we planned to meet up later for some drinks.

Eventually, I found myself back at Campus. There were a few dancers, but none of them caught my attention. Instead, I decided to have another drink. Around 1:00 am, a new dancer caught my eye, and I patiently waited for his performance. He turned out to be fantastic, possibly Italian-Canadian. All in all, it was a great Thursday, and I'm eagerly looking forward to tonight. I'll post more about how it goes!

Great report -- it seems curious that Campus has picked up the mantle from Stock as the hot spot in Montreal.  Albeit, Stock has a more elaborate facility - and can accomodate larger crowds - thus making it more comfortable in my opinion than the cramped quarters at Campus.   Still hope that there's enough room in town for both  clubs to grow and succeed.

tonights Adonis party is trendi topic, so i will give a short account of Friday and will report back later

again, 9pm at CampusL

After all, it was easier and more productive to focus on Campus since it was quite busy. I only made a quick stop at Stock once, but I didn't see any new dancers. It's a shame; I hope things pick up for them. It's always good to see these businesses succeed, but Campus was pretty bustling.

From 11 pm to 1 am, Campus was packed with various types of dancers. Even the pickiest person could find someone to their liking. There was this French-Moroccan guy who was a piece of art: thick eyebrows, plump pink lips, and a swimmer's type of body. He was adorable, just like most of the guys at Campus

I mostly hung out with my two favorites, the blond Issac and the Italian Massimo. I couldn't ask for more beautiful men. There were also some new faces, including some huge guys who reminded me of the ones from previousStock Bar. However, they didn't last more than a minuet in the main floor then you didn’t see them I a long time, always in the back room giving lap-dances

The lapdance-back-room, (right side) felt quite private. As I mentioned before, it had plexiglass doors that were always a bit foggy. no one paid attention except to us looking for the boys. There were a few women, but only a handful. The room was filled with hot clients, some of whom looked as good or even better than the dancers. Those hot clients also enjoyed their lap dances. or at least for me it was a lot of fun. There was a big line to enter, to the point that i didnt even try to step out since the Campus stairs were full of people

Sometimes I wonder about the tolerance in Montreal, aside from the inherent shyness or decorum for the dancers boundaries  But yes, things got pretty hot/wild in there. The best booths were the ones at each end.

you  just ask the dancers. They will let you know their limits, and they won't get mad. However, posting compromising details in a non private post, it is hard for me, I’m a bit old-fashioned and paranoid, even in 2023. I still feel like there may be some prying eyes (autorithies, lawyers, me paranoid) looking for excuses to hinder the hobby of our company of such beauty 😜 . I can't help but be cautious.

tonight, saturday , going to be as wildl TO BE CONTINUED

You help the venue by being cryptic about the fun to be had, without details of what you got by giving in kind. It’s more important to honour that the activities are illegal and authorities turn a blind eye than to openly and publicly describe them to simply satisfy the message board voyeurism of fellows you don’t even know. You are not obligated to support the vicarious living of those who can’t or won’t step up to see for themselves. The average person should get the picture through your enthusiasm.

I'm back, recovering from a wonderful weekend with a bit of a hangover. I'll provide a detailed account later, but I've already booked my next trip to Montreal for next month. I can easily go there every month.

The only downside of the summer is that on Saturday, it was 81°, so people showed up at the bars later than 9 pm. In contrast, Friday, being a cooler day, was packed from 9 to 12:30 am. Saturday night started getting busy around 11 pm, which, according to one of the dancers, is typically when the nice weather kicks in and people are more inclined to go out but get tired quickly.

Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened to me. I was out all day, returned to the hotel, and took a nap that ended up lasting longer than I intended. To my surprise, I woke up at 10:30 pm when my plan was to be out by 9 pm.

but was a lot of fun

LOL, one advantage is you don’t need to look your best and your flexible cubicle date accepts bed hair and the kind of drool tracks I am prone to when napping.

This year’s fireworks sched is a bit different. I think they are still 22:00-22:30 and you simply have to walk a few minutes south on Papineau to the spot where last year I took this clip. Then dash to your favourite stripper club for fireworks 2.0

IDK if the vid will play here (70 seconds)

If you have a radio app the musical accompaniment Montreal station is Rhythme FM. Some won’t know what this means but the sound may not be important.

Three nights in Montreal starting last Thursday. Took AA First TPA/CTL/YUL. Awesome service on each leg. Admirals Club in Charlotte has a nice breakfast buffet and great Bloody Marys. Immigration was FAST and without any of the attitude I used to get pre-pandemic. Checked into the Hyatt Place (formerly the Gouverneur). WOW what a change. I can say that they literally gutted the place. It looks beautiful. By 4pm I was at Campus.

Daddy's Corner is the remodeled Shooter Bar. They did a great job. FUN bartender, used to work as a near by Karaoke Bar. 4-5 dancers working the pole, the bar and the customers. Haven't had afternoon lap dances in years. Stayed busy throughout the night.

Stopped into Stock around 10pm. Haven't been in YEARS. I did not recognize the place. They have done a lot of work and it looks really good. Stock was busy too. Plenty of hot men providing sexy quick dances and slow, FULL ON INVITING dances. Stayed until about 1am. After being up for almost 24 hours, time to pass out.

Similar experiences on Friday and Saturday. Late night St. Catherine St was crowded with pedestrians. Restaurants and Bars that have already built their Summer Terraces were PACKED. So good to see great energy.

Planning another trip this fall ahead of the cold winder weather. It was a FUN time!

You are talking about Mr. Campus Playboy contest, the winner was Kenzo. He's a regular dancer for years and does porn as well. Lot of him online if you like.

Not Mediterranean. Have known him several years from gym. Well past 20 yr age. Western hemisphere origins.

I never said he was

Pardon me. I meant to simply comment on the post from ‘Alfstoria’ regarding Kenzo’s origins and I hit the wrong quote button. I’ll try to backpedal above as well ….

Deleted what I could.

He offers a clue that he is 26 this year. That tracks given both our perceptions of his dancing history.

Does Campus have a cover?  I know Stock does which may be why their attendance is dwindling.

If they cover up, that would be it. My attendance would be less pronounced. If it dwindled any more …

Stock is closed. Campus is ladies night.

Not trying to be contrarian but have not all nights been co-ed for some time? I live nearby and get weekly pizza right next door. Yet perhaps another change? Last banner ad for ladies night is 2016. New throwback?

Yes, but they have always had a ladies night and continue to do so. And they never promoted anything really until the new guy bought it last year or so. So that's not shocking. There is very little online stuff about the bar officially put out there.

Side note: I was there on a ladies night last month, a woman had her dog on the floor of tiny mens room walking around next to the urinals while guys pissed. I walked in and gave her a look. She said there was no womens room and he dog was scared of the music and needed a break. I told her there was a womens room upstairs but she didn't leave, also she could have easily went outside. Bringing your dog into a loud club and then letting it walk on the piss covered floor, lots of poor decisions.

I think your narrative does not offset the reality that all evenings are gender inclusive and have been for some time. Old timey memory lane terms are fine. Historically, I’ve only seen a male bounced. The intolerance threshold in our diverse setting is, fortunately, fairly high.

My narrative? They literally call it ladies night, just because they don't use facebook in the past doesn't prove your point. And they never "bounced" men on ladies night, men were always allowed too.

Whatever you wanna think bud. Mute

Sigh … Friends, Romantics, Countrymen. The notion of weekly one night at Campus, in The Village not village, being designated as “ladies night” might convey the impression that the other nights are male only. That was the case some time ago. The nomenclature is not important because there is nothing that distinguishes any one night of the week in terms of the prerogative for gender inclusivity. If splitting hairs re: labels were to cause confusion, then I would think it my responsibility to disabuse the reader of misperception regarding the gender mix at all times at Campus. The consistently applied gender mix has been referenced and I simply reiterate the venue’s governance regarding clientele.

That said, anyone can label or perceive it any way they want. I’m not wasting more time on it. The chromosomal makeup of attendees  is irrelevant. And I just snagged an arrangement for the summer, having intersected with a keeper there this weekend. So I’m just going to enjoy new hot as F photos over Brunch without panties in a bunch and find room in my ‘zap Contacts for a new stud name plus punctuation !!!!!!! It won’t be under ‘ladies night’ because I cannot locate any such sub-heading on my smartphone.

My getting bounced reference was related to comparing gender in terms of bad behaviour that prompts removal. It was not a reference to ladies night. There is no specific ladies night. Clinging to the label simply exacerbated existing confusion about the criteria for a male getting bounced. Getting bounced is behavioural, not related to the infrastructure aspects of gender inclusivity.

Hohumdedum. Just another day in the bunny warren.

For those who disagree, might I suggest Johnson's in Wilton Manors.  They actively promote a gay men's club for gay men only.  They check government identification for gender.  Any non-males must be accompanied by a male.  The DJ reminds them not to screech or "woo-hoo" at the dancers.

I won't take up any more time discussing what Montreal clubs should do.  I plan to visit Montreal next summer and hopefully enjoy these male strip clubs.  For those looking for "men only" nights, it might be time to take a trip down south to see how it's done. 😊
