I saw him a couple years ago, and though he is definitely older when I first was with him 20 years ago,  he still looks good and has a fine body.

Is he older than when you met him 20 years ago?  According to his ad, he is 39.  I'm pretty sure that's the age he's been since I first noticed his ad 20+ years ago.  Note that I do think men who are 60 can be sexy and I have no idea what Jake looks like today, but I just think it's beyond reason to shave not just years but decades from one's age.

Maybe he should change his name to Jack Benny

Obviously this guy provides a good experience or he wouldn't have his fans on this site.  I've never hired him, and only looked at this thread because someone just liked my previous comment.  I brought up Jake's ad and see that not only is he still 39, but one of the last sentences indicates he's a "young sexy daddy" type.  Yes, he claims to be a young daddy type.  Isn't a young daddy someone in their teens or early 20s?

He's a charming guy and provides a great experience.   I last saw him about 4 years ago, maybe a year before the pandemic. The age-shaving is problematic, yes, but my attitude. when I first saw him was "Ok, I'm not stupid, he's been the same age for at least a decade."   What I was expecting was a guy in his late 40s to mid-50's and that is exactly what I got - very handsome, smart, engaging and great in the sack.

I too hired him just before the pandemic. I was quite taken aback when he opened the door of his hotel room as I was expecting someone much younger and was surprised to see a guy quite a bit older than me standing there. He was pretty attractive & had a good body though, so I didn’t pull out. I was glad I did because he gave me a really good fuck I have to say!

There's something good to be said about someone like him who's been making a living and a career escorting for over 20 years.

And this is why I yet drive a 1999 Buick Riviera Silver Arrow: it is a "classic" model and its gives 100% in  performance on the road.

Somehow I ran into this subject again while looking for a thread about Roman Todd.

Some people just can't help repeating themselves and making the same argument.

Why not just hiring him or taking him out to lunch to see how he really looks and how old he is for real.

Why would I want to hire a liar or even treat him to lunch?  That isn't the kind of man who appeals to me.  If I want to hire someone my age, I'd rather it be someone who's honest about it in their advertising because that conveys self-confidence and an acknowledgement that men can still be hot in their sixties.  What does it say about someone who's that age who tries to pass for 39?

You're right that I've posted similar things about Jake's extreme age shaving a number of times.  It isn't like I'm focused on the issue; I just feel like when his name comes up in a positive light here (or even just as a general inquiry) that forum members who aren't familiar with him should know before hiring him that he's much, much older than he claims.  I feel like it's a community service to warn people -- not that people shouldn't hire an escort who's a granddaddy type but that they should do so knowingly.

He’s at least 60. Yes he should take a page from Allen Silver and be upfront about being a hot older man.

That's exactly who I had in mind when making my previous post.  His current ad states he's 61 and that doesn't seem to have negatively impacted him based on his positive reputation here.

I would guess his age is listed this way on RM due to the filter settings. If he used his real age, it could impact his visibility in search results for people looking for younger men. It’s a business decision. Age in gay years is like dog years—every year feels like seven. It’s a shame in many ways. He should be proud of his age and the experience he brings. By not being upfront about it, he risks disappointing clients who are expecting someone much younger when they open the door. Personally, I’ve always been drawn to older, more mature men. Even when I was younger, I gravitated toward the older guys.

He was adverting in the back pages of the SF rags before the internet. Back then he claimed mid 20's while I was in early 30s and that was 30 years ago! He's still using most of the same pictures too! Glad he's still in good shape and able to be in the business, but I've never understood his insistence on using old pics if he's still looking good and in good shape.
