Thanks for posting this news, I was wondering why I hadn't read any recent posts from him. He and I exchanged many PM's over the years on the bars in Ft. Lauderdale.

Others on this thread knew BVB better than I did; he and I spoke several times but never met. Nevertheless, I’m pretty sad about this. I hadn’t spoken to him in a couple of years, but it’s hard to believe that he and I will never talk again or meet.

I am sorry to hear this. He was a very frequent poster for several years and we had a number of exchanges in private messages; although we both lived in SoCal, we met only once. I am glad his move to FTL was as satsifying as he hoped it would be.

This is a real shocker. About a year before he moved to Florida we got together for lunch at a little restaurant in North Hollywood. Does anybody know when he died and what was the cause?

He passed early Sunday (11/15) morning.

While BVB and I lived very different lives, we developed a kinship because of this hobby. When we met, that kinship was affirmed, such a nice guy.

Big Guy from Pasadena used to come to the Palm Springs Weekends, but he has been missing for some time.

I've been mostly off the Forum since before Daddy passed. So I missed this last year. We had some very nice private conversations. And of course we all remember his great posts here in the Forum. I'm sorry I never got to meet him in person.
