Jjkrkwood I'll state this right up front. Most of us who attend the Palm Springs Weekend are anything but "physically" beautiful people, young and with great bodies. We represent a cross section of regular guys mostly in their 50's, 60's, 70's and even 80's who post on this site. Traditionally those with beautiful bodies and huge cocks are the escorts in attendance. If the above information isn't sufficient to assure possible future attendees that they don't have to be gorgeous to attend then I'm afraid they are simply out of luck. A group photograph of the all the client types smiling and waving at the camera (or something similar) simply isn't going to happen.

. . . but perhaps if there was some way of showing perspectives that all types of men attend, it would make them feel more secure and confident about attending ?

For thirty bucks an hour, I'll come sit next to you and make you look like a Warner Brothers publicity shot. ?

My perception was different. I expected the people who attended the pool party would be similar to men I'd see in a gay bar or gay lounge with male dancers (which is quite diverse here in NYC age-wise and body-wise.) Overall everyone was friendly and easy to talk to.

You were there! You have more than "perception". You saw with your eyes. :)

I may not ever be able to join in real life, or yet be the "core demographic," (those days are coming very soon ?), but I sure wouldn't mind hanging out with a bunch of guys comfortable in their skin, no matter their age, and have a good time. That's beautiful! I enjoy reading about the event and commend all who organize and orchestrate it. The build up and excitement, as well as the reports of the weekend's camaraderie and fun, sure make me wanna join in! One can hope! Thanks for sharing, guys.

Thank you for that rule, Epigonos. As someone who attended this past weekend's festivities, I appreciated not having photos and perhaps doing so also gives an incentive for people who missed out to actually come and show up in the future!

Having attended four (or maybe its five) pool parties, I think one of the great things is that since there are no photos, the cell phones are not seen and the guests are actually talking to each other. The only time I saw phones out was for individuals to exchange contact info.

I began attending this event in 2014 missing only 2020, so I’ve attended 7 events now. Even though there are some familiar faces each year there is always a new crop of attendees. I enjoy talking and meeting both providers and clients who share similar interests. My thanks go out to @Oliver for hosting the event, @Epigonos for all of the wonderful tasty hors d’oevures, @David-SF for hosting a pre-event with a special memorial to Guy/Daddy who created a website for like-minded participants to engage in discussion on some many different topics. I’m looking forward to next year as well.

I encourage suggestions for how the Weekend might be enhanced, with some exceptions:

I will choose the dates.

There will be an early Saturday evening dinner at a specific time and venue.

There will be a Sunday afternoon pool event at my temporary residence with certain restrictions (clothing not one of them. ? )

Ideas about a Sunday evening dinner are requested. Any other thoughts or ideas are solicited, specifically from those of you who have attended.

Thanks for your input!:)

Last weekend was my first Palm Springs weekend; I told Oliver that it reminded me of my college fraternity gatherings, only with touch!! I thought all events were great fun; if I could tweak anything, it would be to have more time to mix and mingle at the Saturday dinner before sitting down to eat; I look forward to being there in 2022!

Trio has a private room with its own bar. In 2020 we were scheduled to use that room which would have allowed for much more mingling prior to sitting down to dinner. Unfortunately the 2020 Weekend was canceled and the room isn't currently in use. Hopefully it will be a possibility again in 2022.

Hopefully heading back to Palm Springs next year. Are of any of the gyms a good place to head to if looking for some light fun? Have previously been to world gym but there wasn’t much going on!

I was going to suggest WorkOUT Gym on Palm Canyon, but apparently it's permanently closed. :( I had some light fun there a few years ago.

Nope, it's not mine. I've never worn a navy blue speedo, and I always try to wear something different at each year's pool party. Briefly. ?

I disrobed @Robster to insist he was first naked and in the pool. Can confirm it’s not his ?

Always a pleasure to attend. I was fortunate to make a surprise visit for the day. Thank you all. It was truly amazing seeing you beautiful people one last time.
