@Mocha, where I can understand why you want to charge in this case, as a client I'll tell you I would not pay to talk to an escort I was interested in setting an appointment up with, and that includes the fee posted for contacting your number. I only contact if I am interested in hiring, and I know that is not universal. I fear having a fee attached to contact will disinterest many potential clients, especially the ones just checking to see if you two will be compatible.

Entertaining ??? That's a debatable point. For me, he's a Debby-downer. always complaining and never anything uplifting or constructive. But he always makes a good case for NOT wanting to be an escort !

People will seem real right up until the time...others will drop off the face of the planet in the middle of setting something up. I’m not a friend they’ve known for years. They contact me like we have a relationship or like I’m available in their in their city forever. I don’t care about their family or their job or any of that shit if they can’t balls up and meet. When people call Uber and Lyft, or book flight tickets in advance, do they tell their whole life story? NO. So why do it to me? Once you (pay) and get into the Uber/Lyft/Plane, you can small talk with the driver/passengers all the way to your destination. But not before even inputting a credit card. So why should escorts be any different?

 

It’s just too much time. It’s not professional, it’s making me feel unprofessional. I can’t, I just can’t. Only thing I can do is start getting paid within a pre-determined amount of messages. If not...end of conversation. Cut, off.

Really.... you are in the business of attracting people. Men. Which is to say, critters who think about sex all the time but have Intermittent Commitment Syndrome. Instead of bitching about us, you need to study what works and perfect your game. They seem to be buzzing around enough. Instead of being annoyed at the buzz, figure out what about you lands you one. @Mocha. It's very very simple. There are hotter and younger escorts on the market. Clients contact you as a Plan B option when they try to book escorts that they want. If it works out with them, you are the one who is getting tossed.

 

Also, another reason. That attitude that you display in your original post, may impact how you communicate with clients via texts. If a client senses it, they may chat with you for a while, but would not meet.

 

The option with "pay to plan" may work with a couple of clients a year. If you are ok with this traffic, go for it.

@Mocha I do understand what you are saying. I am sure it is frustrating from the provider perspective dealing with us clients who can be flaky and inconsiderate.

 

I see that you are coming to Denver soon, but from my perspective, I would not be inclined to hire you because of the way you talk about clients and the way it appears you have a lot of hoops you make clients go through. The same weekend you are here, I have two semi-regulars visiting Denver and they are the ones going to get my business over you because I don't want to deal with a provider with such a negative attitude towards clients (even though it is probably often justified).

 

I don't say this to antagonize you. I think you often add a thoughtful discussion to this forum and probably do a great job for many fo your clients. But I am probably not the only potential client who is turned off by the way you decide to present yourself both on this forum and in your Rent.Men ad. Maybe it's worth it to you to avoid those flaky clients that you have to deal with, but I also feel it's quite likely that you're losing business in the process.

Many people with the looks and attitude also fail because there are very, very few escort agencies left to teach the basic skills.

A few weeks ago a frequent poster (who is only at the top and doesn’t rim) mentioned an encounter he had with an escort who arrived late and wasn’t ready to bottom for him during their overnight appointment.

 

because the escort posted on here and had frequent clients who were also members of the forum he never complained about it. He was afraid of the consequences of disagreeing with others who had a wonderful time with the escort.

Mocha uses this forum to tell what he is thinking. If Mike Gaite posted as often, he would get negative responses as well. Benjamin Nicholas was not always a favorite, or Scott Adler. It is a fairly long list.

It is fine for you to publicly defend escorts. That is one of your many strong points here. However, your perception that clients are afraid to make negative comments here about popular escorts is incorrect.

He uses this forum to diss on clients, issue threats of exposure if his cancellation fee is not paid, and push his business model of charging a client for simply contacting him. I feel that the negativity in his threads and posts has altered the dynamic of this forum.

 

How many here will admit that as soon as a new thread of his shows up, we shake our heads and say, “Here we go again”?

I do not completely agree. Yet I understand how you feel about his many, many posts. Deciding to stop chatting for free is ridiculously self defeating.
