I'm in Zurich next week for 3 nights. What is the going rate at Paragony and any recent experiences to share?

I was in Zurich for 3 nights during the heat wave, last week of June.

 

Had a wonderful time at Paragonya. The staff are friendly and chatty; the place was clean and I felt totally relaxed. Going rates were 100 Swiss per agreed encounter. Best times to go: 1-6pm

 

There was a REALLY good mix of guys while I was there. Twinks, muscles and my "swimmer type". Czechs, Romanians, Spanish and some who I didn't get around to talk to; looked like they were from other parts of Europe.

 

There was a Czech guy in his early 20's who had such a handsome face but was too muscly for me - so we just chatted at the bar.

 

Despite previous bad reports about Romanians, I found them friendly and not at all "pushy". I had a lot of fun with a blond, tanned Romanian who I have stayed in contact with.

 

On my last night, after Paragonya had quieted, I accompanied 2 of the other "clients" to the nearby bar for drinks around 7pm. A few of the boys joined us after and it was friendly drinks and chat with no hidden agendas.

 

I'm due back in London beginning of October for work, so am heading over 2 weeks early to spend in Zurich . Suffice to say, Paragonya has been my best experience to date.

Pavel (Pavol) is back in Zürich as "Steve019" at Hunqz, and likely also showing up at Paragonya.

 

Ryan_Cage (Hunqz) actually gives Paragonya dates for his Zürich visit. I hope this catches on. I would love if all the Hunqz guys in Zürich indicated their intent there. But then, of course, they might think they will earn less compared to outside of the spa.

 

Interestingly, I finally got Hunqz working, having discovered that my iPad is old generation less than 12.0 iOS and will not support it. But I can get Hunqz to work on iPhone and iPod touch now. You can even enter Paragonya into the location field and it will bring up the providers according to their distance from that facility.

 

And some provider reviews. Who knew!?

Ok - I have to ask.....I’m going to go to Paragonya next week (first time for me there) - and I have two kind of random questions:

1. Several guys have mentioned a ‘shift change’ at 3:30 pm......I don’t understand what this refers to.....front desk staff (and so, why should I care), or are there working boys in shifts??

2. Is afternoon really the best time to go? Works for me, but I’m surprised that 5pm to close wouldn’t be more active?

No.... 5 to close is often dead or empty. Outside the US saunas are usually daytime facilities. In Amsterdam they had a Day Sauna and a Night Sauna, but that was the only nnight sauna then. 10am to 5pm is the peak times.

 

Paragonya especially is very unpredictable even in the day. The guy at the door is nicely honest at telling you if it's worth coming in before you pay $37. Sometimes at 2 there's only 1 or 2 people and sometimes there's 50. Weekends are usually good, sometimes wonderful. Get ready for hotel sticker shock. Hotel Schueble on the corner is all our favorite. Also Uber sticker shock which makes unwalkable hotels expensive too. If I hear who's in Zurich I'll let you know. Many Czechs rotate in.

thanks! I’m flying tonight, and plan to go tomorrow (Monday).....thanks for the advice - I’ll go in the afternoon and ask the guy at the door before I pay/go in. If you have any suggestions on who to look for, that would be wonderful.

"Sexy Filip" if he's in Zurich. 100. Camel or Kamil (Orri Assen from porn) is always in Zurich and a lot of guys like him. I wasn't overwhelmed.

Small price hike to 38CHF. There is no formal “shift change” for working guys. It may be that some guys have a quota set in their head and bounce in the early afternoon if they had a lucrative lunch-hour period?

 

The loyalty package discounts savings percentage figures are incorrect and should read 18% for 10 and 22% for 20.

What an interesting place - I would definitely go again!

 

as described- it’s convenient to the Zurich Haptbanhof - maybe less than 10 min walk. It is on the second floor - no or little street front signage, and you have to buzz to get in, but it all works easily.

inside, you get a locker key and towel when you get in. They have a bar with snacks and sandwiches, and coffee, etc. you can smoke at the bar, and a number of people were, but a little bit away from there you can’t smell any smoke.

The club is on 2 floors - with stairs in between. The level you enter has the lockers, the bar area, toilets, showers, sauna, and steam room. The upstairs has mostly private cabins, some with gloryholes, a sling, and a tanning bed (!??).

 

The clientele is very bimodal. I was there maybe between 2-4pm on a Monday afternoon. There was 40-50 guys there the whole time - and about 50% are 50+ in age, and the rest at probably under 30 and ‘working’. The working guys hang around at one side of the bar area near the steps. They are not shy about propositioning you, and speak some of a number of languages - they all had enough English for me.....if you head upstairs or into the steam room, someone will follow you, and ask if you want a massage or sex. There was a really great range of (really) hung and willing guys to pick from....and they all know the basic words - and often lead with ’hey - what do you like? I’m versatile’. That said, I didn’t find them pushy, and was able to decline without any problems. But it was a lot of fun (and ego boosting) to have such a range of guys ‘asking’ or suggesting, or propositioning.....

While I was there, they tended to be on the thin side (which I like) but there were a few who were more jock to guy next door.

 

I met 2 cute blond Romanians (and I would happily do so again.....). I didn’t know it at the time but they room together (presumably are traveling together) and offered me a ‘trio’ but having just paid each of them singly, I declined.....had I only known!

 

And, as you might expect in Switzerland, very clean, and well maintained and well run.

 

On my list to go back for sure!

I went to Paragonya around 2 pm on Fri Oct 15. There were 40 to 50 men. Some were handsome. 

 

I could not understand the language of my favorite, a well-built young man with a small beard from Seville, Spain. Nevertheless, he communicated 100 for 30 min. Although spoken communication was minimal, that did not matter at all. He fulfilled all my expectations. He satisfied my desires. I shall seek him again. Regretfully I do not know his name.

I think in Paragonya the rate is 100 but in Zurich for outcalls the norm is 150. Both good by American standards.

I was in Zurich from 10/15-25/2021.

I stayed at Hotel Scheuble in a cozy single room. I was satisfied. I enjoyed the breakfast.

I went to Paragonya four times. There is an online live capability to identify the current number of people. 

Apparently the busiest times are early afternoons on weekends. 

I went during those times.

The first time I encountered my favorite, a well-built handsome man from Sevilla, Spain. We could not communicate through words due to different languages. He communicated 100 for 30 min. I agreed. I was delighted with the experience.  Ability to communicate through speech was irrelevant.

 

I encountered Adam, a handsome man from Hungary with a yin/yan tattoo on right pectoral who advertises on Romeo. He offered various services for 100 or 150. I enjoyed the encounter.

 

I encountered a Czech man on his first day there. He provided a satisfying encounter for 100. I was attracted to his slender body. I observed brownish material between his teeth indicating poor dental hygiene. I did not want to open my mouth to his because of that problem. I enjoyed physically interacting with him. 

 

I met Marc, a slender man, for 100. I enjoyed my encounter with him.

 

I always paid the 38 CHF fee in cash to enter. I never used a credit card.

 

This is a professional business. I felt safe in the facility and the environs. 

 

I plan to return to Hotel Scheuble in spring to visit Paragonya and to participate in cultural and professional activities. Unlike saunas in Brazil and Spain, I am confident that I shall not be assaulted or robbed at Paragonya. I likely shall eventually buy a twenty-admission ticket. I likely shall feel comfortable to buy drinks and treats for my favorites. Paragonya is a high-class sauna. I like it a lot.

 

At Paragonya I can clearly see potential encounters clearly beforehand. They generally readily demonstrate their may assets. I can determine the assets and defects of each man before an encounter. By walking throughout the entire facility, I can assess the assets and limitations of all the available men. I can wait for the best guy.

 

Early afternoon is the best time to visit because most guys are there then.

@ColassI have not heard any stories about patrons being assaulted or robbed in saunas in Brazil or Spain.

You are correct, saunas in Brazil and Spain are not noted for assaults or robberies. 

Of my countless number of times in Brazil and Barcelona saunas, I never had or heard of any issue of assaults.  

I did have my locker robbed once in Brazil but that was not an act of violence.

I really like the Hotel Scheuble a lot. Very stylish and many gays outside and in bars close by besides Paragonya across the street. The woman at the reception can be a pita. She made me wait 2 hours in a lobby chair to check in at noon. But glamorous stylish hotel. 

Not sure if it is the same after-lockdown but the price is Zurich far an outcall escort was always 150. Maybe it's 200 now for some? WIth the 38 entry, 100 for a quickie at Paragonya may not be best value. Plus it's often almost empty (check!). The better guys I know mostly work internet, mostly Hunqz, dates, not Paragonya much. The 200 vs 150 is often I find because there are fewer customers because of covid and they try to make up with higher rates. I think it's good to state 150 as standard rate even if talked into something higher. The number of providers hasn't diminished (maybe new ones has).

Do providers in patagonia walk around with towels, naked, or flashing?

Depending on which part of the sauna, some providers go without clothes but mostly on the second level. 

The second floor is where the free rooms and showers and restrooms are located.  It is not unusual to see a naked provider walking around on the second level.  

Most clients and providers wear at least a towel.  

On the first floor of the sauna, I have never seen anyone without clothes.   In fact there is a sitting area where many clients sit and visit while wearing street clothes.  

On the floor where most agreements are reached, it is usually fairly dark and many providers are not timid about showing off what they have to offer.  

As to finding "cut" guys, there are some but many are not.  You have to check for that while having a discussion of a possible get-together with a provider.
