  1. ah then it makes sense why Argentina may not seem as cheap then since you're paying in USD. I thought folks were paying in Argentine pesos (exchanged unofficially blue dollar rate).
  2. yup definitely a thing and has been for decades. I recall reading an article over a decade ago how older widowed/divorced British women were going to Kenya to 'hangout' with men who look like basketball players. Back in college, I did some research on Christopher Isherwood's Berlin Stories and during 1920s/30s, men who liked men flocked to Germany for some fun tourism thanks to the weak Deutsche Mark currency.
  3. in Argentina, do you pay in USD cash or do you pay in Argentine Peso cash (exchanged unofficially to get the blue dollar rate). The USD is quite strong against a lot of currencies in recent months. I went to Montreal a few months ago and had a great time. Same in Brazil. Japan is also 'cheap' right now thanks to the exchange rate.

  5. Stop by both Campus and Stock and see which types of guys you like. I know some guys here are not fans of the backroom at Campus but I had a great time. When I went to Campus back in November, I noticed some of the guys working there are also on men of montreal website.
  6. When I was a student, I always tried to sit in front row in classes with good looking male professors. I mean wow. You can stare at them with no shame since you're paying attention At the beach I try to always sunbathe near the beach volleyball area. It'll look like I'm watching the game but really am just paying attention to the shirtless players. Wearing sunglasses helps too.
  7. I went to 117 last weekend and noticed a lot more customers wore street clothing while inside (garotos wore towels) I went a year ago and most if not all of us just wore towels. is this a new trend? Just found it odd. I wore a towel but then a fellow customer thought I was a garoto lmao but figured out I wasn’t when I barely spoke Portuguese. happy Thanksgiving from Brasil!
  8. Just came back from Montreal and had a great time. At Campus, I went Friday evening and I noticed most of the folks who do table service tend to be female/bachelorette parties. This makes sense since they're usually in groups. I actually think it's best to go either alone or with a friend or two so you can easily find a spot at the bar or one of the side areas. Dancers were great. $20 per dance. I had a great time with Arno and Felix. To be honest, since I was already tipsy I at times lost count of the songs so after I've had my fun I usually just ask which song we were on (both said 3rd song) and I kindly stated ok let's finish up by the end of this song and I gave both of them tips in addition to the $20/dance. I left Campus at 1am and thought about going to GI Joe's but decided against it and just went back to the hotel.
  9. Only thing I can control is the fact I voted. I survived 2000-2008 and 2016-2020 so whatever the outcome I'll be fine. If anything, I'm just glad I won't get these texts/emails asking for $$$ anymore. Both parties have fundraised so much money!
  10. Have any of you watched the Roommate on Broadway? I watched it from the orchestra on a Saturday evening and no, I did not hear Hell's Kitchen music at all during the performance. In fact, none of my friends who watched the play stated they could hear music from Hell's Kitchen either. If Hell's Kitchen is too loud to the point that it's bother people, I think we would have heard audiences complainiing about this back in August/September.
  11. I'll be going back to Brazil end of this year for 2 weeks (going to Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo). I have time to go to another city and was thinking of maybe going to Salvador or Florianopolis for a few days. Other than Rio and Sao Paulo, are there other cities in Brazil that have garoto saunas?
  12. I remember that scene as well. Glad to hear Tom Chase is doing well and hopefully he will be able to do those scenes someday!
  13. How did you pick your masseur? Most guys tend to pick a masseur who they think is attractive. I do think with massage a really good masseur can tell from your body/sounds whether you wish to have a happy ending or not. I'm sorry you had that experience.
  14. I usually don't see plays since I have a tendency to fall asleep but..... a decade ago I watched The Glass Menagerie on Broadway starring Cherry Jones, Zachary Quinto, Celia Keenan-Bolger, and Brian Smith and I was wide awake the entire time and fully paying attention. In spring 2019, I watched the play German Life starring Maggie Smith and she was captivating. It's a one-person play 85 minutes with no intermission yet Maggie somehow made time fly by. She can read out a dictionary and I'd be paying attention. lol. May she rest in peace.
  15. I'm really sorry this happened but thank you for sharing as I, too, learned something new today since all my Zelle payments were always instant. In the future, will you only accept payment by cash or card? Or will you still accept Zelle payments but you have to make sure you see that the transaction was completed (not pending) before the client leaves?
  16. That was the first film I remember seeing Maggie Smith in! I always thought the young man was incredibly handsome.
  17. 4000 texts is a LOT of messages. I mean a LOT. Was the doctor in the closet? Was he out? If in the closet, then perhaps there was some sort of extortion going on? Who knows. Given the evidence is via cellphone records, I'm surprised it took more than a year to charge the person of interest who they interviewed in late April 2023.
  18. Who is BB? Brian Bonds? I thought he retired before pandemic pursuing other ventures.
  19. I prefer the simple rainbow flag. It's inclusive of everything.
  20. ok good for you. I went during OutGames 2006 and the rules back then was no touching the dancers. Perhaps yours was a higher rate. I remember this since that was my first time at a strip bar (went with friends) and we all just tried 1 dance for the experience and then left. Rules obviously has changed and if you go there frequently and considered a regular, rules may be different for you.
  21. Wow they've shortened the route. I remember the days when it started in Central Park, then went down 5th avenue then west to Christopher Street. Before pandemic it used to start at around Empire State building at 34th st and 5th ave and then go down... now it starts at 23rd.
  22. I've gone to several Arab countries (Egypt, Tunisia, Oman, UAE, Lebanon, Qatar) with another man and even stayed in the same room but to be safe we only stayed in rooms with 2 twin beds.
  23. I remember watching Downton Abbey and when the Marquess of Hexham died, he did so in Tangiers, Morocco. Apparently back then that's where men went to be 'free'.
  24. I'd think he'd get more business from hungry cyclists?
  25. Have a great time everyone! I went back in 2021 and had a blast!!! Enjoy!
