    This is out of context. I was replying to SirBillyBob's comment earlier that he has now deleted. I agree with you that there are wealthy individuals in Brazil especially in its financial center who can afford it. In my comment I meant USD$300, not 300 BRL.

    It's all perspective. They cater to their local market. If they're priced at $300/hour I doubt the average Brazilian local can afford that.

    Glad to hear it went well! When I went in 2021 I'll admit the hardest part was attending the first event where you don't know anyone!     I visited Japan a decade ago while my friend was working there (he spoke English and Japanese) and he told me the only way to visit some of those small gay Japanese bars is to have a local gay Japanese who knows the owner to bring you but that's rare. There are other gay bars in shinjuku-ni-chome that is welcoming of Americans and westerners though. It's a different culture.
