Wow! I went to Campus once with friends back in summer 2006. Back then it was $10 per song in the back but I recall we weren't allowed to touch the guys during the lapdance but they could touch us. I guess things have changed or it just depends on how much money you're willing to give them.

If you have time, try to watch the play revival TAKE ME OUT or the new musical that won the Pulitzer a few years ago, STRANGE LOOP.

This was the first play I had ever seen on Broadway back in summer 2003. It was groundbreaking. I couldn't believe I was seeing a naked man onstage (I was a teenager back then). Back then they didnt' have yondr pouches but then again none of us had smartphones either. I saw the revival recently and though this cast is hot and talented, I personally preferred Sunjata back in 2003! I also think Denis O'Hare was better than JTF. Definitely see this revival if you can!

I enjoyed watching FUNNY GIRL last week. Note though that I never watched the movie and I'm only familiar with "Don't Rain on my Parade" thanks to Lea Michele singing it in GLEE. To me, I couldn't stop looking at RAMIN KARIMLOO! I mean wow!

I surprisingly liked MJ too. Then again, I didn't have any expectatiions but once MJ started speaking, I thought he sounded just like MJ did back in the 90s! Wow!

I tend to go to piano bars nowadays as I like the ambiance, the singing, and it's easier to break the ice with strangers. If I go to a random gay bar in NYC, most of the guys I see there are either with friends or alone by the bar checking their smartphone (most likely on grindr or scruff or growlr or jackd, etc.)

You are not alone as what others have posted above. I also agree to not regret the past and instead to look to the future and move on. I came out when I was 18 but still never really felt the pleasure of bottoming as my other friends have described to me. To me it always hurt regardless of what my exes did so kudos to you for getting an awesome first bttm experience! I actually liked Dear Evan Hansen more than Hamilton onstage so am glad you plan to watch it @JoeMendoza .... I haven't gotten tix to DEH yet but I do plan on watching it when it comes back in December. The big show most people here are anticipating is MUSIC MAN revival starring Hugh Jackman. First preview is on Dec 20th.

I watched MERRY WIVES (shakespeare in the park) a few days ago and they checked for vaccination cards. PHoto was ok but they also required you to show govt ID (and they check whether name matched).

I think it's all about confidence. When I went to Rio I saw most if not all men there wear speedos and I admired their confidence to do so! I swim recreationally and normally wear jammers during workouts and a cutesy speedo when going to the beach even though I don't have sixpack abs. lol

I've only been on one gay cruise back in 2007 (Alaska cruise) and had a blast!!! I'd go again. I went with a close gay friend from work which I thought was a good idea. Yes there were cliques here and there but for the most part I felt people were respectful. I'd say 60% of the cruise passengers were bears which was pretty cool as I wasn't really exposed to bear culture back then. I think going with a friend helps a lot as I've heard some not-so-good stories of single people who opt for a stranger as a roommate at a gay cruise. Am very sorry the OP didn't have a good experience but if you do choose to go to a gay cruise again, check out one of the few Alaska cruises! The weather tends to be cooler so less people have their shirts off but there is still a lot of fun stuff to do! The entertainment was fun and I somehow hooked up with one of the entertainers late one night....

I wish Washington Square Park had more green/grass areas. To me it's mostly pavement.
