  3. I was visiting Sydney back in 2016 and the masseur had this huge place that had its own hot tub (can fit 3-4 people), massage table (with a hole for your package), etc.! It was great and very relaxing! The massage itself was only 90 mins but obviously there was a lot of extra fun in between there.
  4. I agree this was lovely to watch! Plus that guy is easy on the eyes so that always helps! Lol. it did make me think of gay movies with piano scenes and the ones I can think of are: Trick Broken Hearts Club
  5. My friend asked her 14 year old son whether he keeps any nudie magazines under his bed and he replied back “magazines?”
  6. I’ve done 3 hours but it was more like a spa experience (shower, scrub down, hot tub, massage, shower.)
  7. I really loved Quiznos but somehow all of their locations closed around here in NYC.
  8. Oh wow! I didn't know they were having issues. I believe @youngboldone stayed there during the recent Palm Springs weekend in April. I recall Inndulge was for sale though.
  9. From your avatar and screename I thought you might look like Dirk Caber in a bathtub.
  10. I've never flown anyone in but I am curious what m One plus about flying in economy is it's easier to cuddle!!!
  11. Whew! Did his good looks help him get that job during the interview??? hehe j/k Before this pandemic I recall one of my gay coworkers loved helping HR campus recruiting visiting his alma mater and interviewing candidates for summer internships in NYC. At that level all of them have similar resumes (sports/clubs/studies) and it's almost hard to pick one but he admits being goodlooking and articulate helps!
  12. Have you guys done a FaceTime intro or a zoom chat?
  13. I think some people like the power/influence they may have at work and simply don't want to let it go after years of hard work to get there.... it's to the point he/she may have identity issues after retiring.
  14. lol same here. Looking back I really wish I took gymnastics classes back when I was 7 or 8 years old rather than soccer.
  15. Kudos to you! President Joe Biden is 78 years old and has 3.5 more years of work ahead of him so no reason to retire at your age unless there are other factors involved. I have a friend who is in his mid-60s and have no plans to retire in the near future. He makes a great salary and has employees to do all the hard grunt work. Before the pandemic he mainly entertained clients for lunch and dinner and at times even took them to a ballgame or a Broadway show. Sure there is some level of stress but not that much that he wants to give this all up. From his perspective, it took him over 35 years to reach this level in his career and might as well enjoy it especially if it doesn't cause too much stress in his life.
  16. Remember the movie Latter Days? The blond actor in it left LA and is now a farmer too!
  17. Not sure but maybe this guy? https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/joeturk-from-la-as-i-recall.123087/ There is a photo of a guy next to a truck in this expired profile: https://rentmen.eu/JoeTurk
  18. Do booths like this one from Pose still exist in NYC (but for gay guys?)
  19. Back in the day I remember there was this place called The Gaiety here in NYC where male strippers performed but got the $$$ when meeting potential clients afterwards in a lounge area. Back then I guess it was easier to commit to a meeting since it was done in person. Nowadays with text messages it's so much easier to cancel or ghost.
  20. Reminds me of the French film Shiny Shrimps. Hopefully men's synchronized swimming will be an Olympic event in the future. I believe synch swimming and Rhythmic Gymnastics only allow women whereas all the other sports have both men and women events.
  21. Yes Pita Taufatofua qualified in taekwondo! https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/olympics/2020/02/29/pita-taufatofua-shirtless-tongan-earns-spot-tokyo-2020-olympics/4911599002/
  22. The age I'd want to retire is.... tomorrow! lol. Realistically I can probably retire at age 50. What would be ideal for me though is to work for 5-6 months and then travel/explore the world the other 6 months.
  23. I was referring to people who need help in personal finance so someday they can retire comfortably. Both my parents had pensions (each worked at the same company for over 30 years) so they didn't know much about 401k, roth IRA, etc. and their one advice when I graduated college back in the day was to stick to one company and grow/stay there forever. Obviously that's not the norm anymore. For me, I read Suze Orman books and talked to college buddies to see how they plan on retiring. It is through a friend back in 2016 who told me about the FIRE movement and thereafter I've been mostly focusing on reaching FI someday. Nowadays, there are so much FIRE related youtube videos and books available so if anyone interested in accumulating wealth in order to retire, the information is out there. I agree with you though that some government programs for the needy are hard to get.
  24. I think people who accept needing help will find it at the very least on the internet either from reading blogs/articles/books or watching youtube videos on personal finance/retirement/investing.
