  1. I agree please don't be ashamed. I bet the younger guy hopes to reach that age someday!
  2. I've never been to Palm Springs (going there first time next month) but have gone to Provincetown several times over the years. One thing I found interesting about Provincetown is during the summer, each week practically has its own theme: bear week, family week, women's week, carnival week, etc.
  3. Gold-diggers are everywhere -- even here in the USA! I have friends in Brazil, India, and Philippines who are gay locals there and tell me their dating pool for LTRs tends to be tiny there compared to what they see in the US or other western countries. I met all of them here in the US while they were getting their MBA here. One friend even told me he prefers to date gay men who live in the same neighborhood as he does so at least they're both in the same socioeconomic class. Anyways, love is love and I hope you find what you're looking for, V-Vhitner!
  4. I didn't know about that policy. Perhaps in the future Atlantis/RSVP can devote specific times when the sauna is men only or women only? I'd think the females who go to gay cruises tend to be lesbians and would prefer a sauna of the same gender?
  5. Would you consider the PS aerial tram a must-see for first timers? I'm also debating whether to rent a car or just use uber/lyft.
  6. I didn't know that but that makes sense. Two friends went on it and really had a great time!
  7. I think it depends on who else is booked at your resort. My friend stayed there last summer and LOVED it. He stayed at both Santiago and Vista Grande and though he loved both resorts, between the two he had more action at Santiago. Again, it all depends on who else is staying there.
  8. I've only been on one gay cruise and that was an Alaska cruise. It was a lot of fun but I noticed for Alaska cruises I think mostly bear-type gays and their admirers go. I'd say in the cruise I went to it was at least 60% bears. Back 13-14 years ago I remember RSVP chartered the Queen Mary transatlantic crossing and I wish I had gone on it. I recall there were some pretty good last-minute sales.
  9. I started doing it back 12 years ago when a friend was mugged. It really depends on the city/area one lives in I think.
  10. Thank you for sharing! I myself have never heard of the films Victim and Happy Together and hope to watch them someday. Personal favorite of mine is also the tree scene in Beautiful Thing. That was the first LGBT movie I had ever watched.
  11. I first watched Matthew Bourne's swan lake back in 2010 at NY City Center and watched it again Feb 2020 right before pandemic closed down NYC. It was the last live performance I watched. So good!
  12. If it's not expired yet, I put the compromised card in my dummy wallet so in case I get mugged that's the wallet I give them.
  13. Thank you Cooper for updating us! I still hope Daddy will make it through.
  14. Me neither but that's changing in 3.5 weeks! I saw Inndulge was fully booked so I just made reservation at desert paradise across the street. Hope to meet some of you guys! My second shot is in 9 days so will be vaccinated by then but will still be wearing face mask, etc.
  15. When I first watched Jesse Jackman I found it interesting how he had an L-shaped penis but from reading his blog for him it's natural and is not due to penile fracture. http://jessejackman.xxx/2012/04/13/a-bend-in-the-rod/
  16. Before covid-19, I would always make it a priority to attend the wake or funeral when a friend or close friend's parent passed away. This past year, I've mainly sent condolence cards with a short handwritten message to close friends whose parents passed away. For FB friends, I write a short comment (similar to what Epigonos wrote) on their FB tribute. Personally, I think the toughest time is after the funeral when it really hits that the person is gone.
  17. Thank you! I only went to Gaiety twice in 2004 but sadly didn't get a chance to see him. That smile is indeed wonderful! May he rest in peace.
  18. I think the only thing I miss is the art of flirtation. It's better done in person versus through an app. This is why I always go to a gay friend's bday/holiday party (though I did notice in recent years that after a few hours a lot of the young guys would start discreetly checking their smartphones..) I started going to gay bathhouses in the early 2000s and from what I recall, if you have a nice body or a cute face, you can easily find a hookup. For others, that may not be the case.
  19. Did Harry ever take a paternity test?
  20. There was full frontal male nudity in the following plays: The Inheritance, Choir Boy, M Butterfly, and Angels in America.
  21. Did you go to any of Ben's concerts during his 2019 tour?
  22. Flying on a 747 plane where there is one large screen in the middle and everyone had to watch the same movie(s) throughout the flight. There were no small TVs back then in front of each seat. For other forms of entertainment, you can ask the flight attendant for a deck of cards. Having 1 landline phone number for a family of 6. We didn't have callerID back then so whenever the phone rang we always answered it! In addition, long distance domestic and international calls were $$$ (I grew up in NJ and recall some phone numbers that had the same area code were considered long distance too.) Classified ads (Personals) where you have to call a phone number and leave them a voicemail message.
  23. But I thought you're paying for his time? Honestly though do you think it's because he had another client before you that day? Also, do you think he needs to use Viagra?
  24. happy lunar new year!!!
  25. I wonder if it's similar to the Bridegroom documentary released 7-8 years ago. That was one of the most depressing gay movies/docs I've watched. :/ I remember watching Holding the Man and their depiction of an aids patient in the hospital/home was more graphic than any other gay movie I've seen before.
