Could be. I’d live the high life if I made enough from sex work but I don’t make enough money from it to bathe in champagne while naked nymphs drop peeled grapes into my mouth.
To make this vision a reality for me would my clients please book more sessions and pay larger tips. Thanks.

Reasons for doing sex work are as varied as reasons for doing any other kind of work. Sometimes it’s a necessity for money sometimes it’s a calling. It will impact how dedicated and committed someone is to it.
It’s a lazy assumption to make that people only do sex work out of desperation. The other sex workers I know do it out of choice. So do I. I enjoy it. I like the flexibility, the variety, the excitement, meeting people, helping them to explore their sexual selves and other aspects of their personality that come out in a truly intimate situation.
I think though that because the work is precarious, and unpredictable (sometimes busy, sometimes not) then it’s important to have a secure source of alternative income from a part time job or other work that fits around the sex work. Flexibility is key here. That gives you the security to build the sex work client base and keeps things in perspective I think.

There is also the concept of “expansion”~ Expansion is broadening one’s skill set~ Providing and Escorting are not exclusively about “sex”~ it can also include adventuring, exploring, cooking, medical advocacy, music, guiding people on tours and trips, counseling, esteem building, long-term partnerships that include all aspects of a relationship and can be with or without sex. I I think it’s important to make the distinction that there are different types of providers and different types of services… Not all escorts are prostitutes not all providers are prostitutes not all prostitutes are escorts some people combine all these things together plus more. There are clients I have known for nearly 22 years and the parameters of our relationship evolve constantly… We grow together… Sometimes it’s more physical and sometimes it’s more emotional or psychological or even spiritual…
Life bonds can happen. While it’s easy to superficially visualize provision and escorting as something exclusively sexual, the reality is that it can be some thing more deeply rooted in cultivating intimacy on the deepest levels in ways that are not necessarily always sexual or physical at all~
There can even be Love shared~

People haven't asked me for proof buy I'm happy to provide it - however I will be sure to tell them PrEP is what THEY should be on because of ME regardless of how responsible they believe me to be.

This is why YOU are on PrEP.  Only you can guarantee your own health.
It's Russian Roulette relying on someone else to be responsible for your sexual health.

Honestly, this just comes across as internalized homophobia. I'm not hiring a straight escort who's going to have a bunch of conditions and by virtue of his sexual orientation be tolerating the interaction for money, as opposed to enjoying it.

Oh, well, not sure what you saw, when I checked it said 1 hour for $600, 2 hours or more for $503 per hour.  I just assumed you were looking at the 1 hour rate.

I've been wanting to hire him but reluctant to pay the 500 price tag. Rarely have I found a hire worth that price. I have hired less pricey guys that I would pay that much though!

It’s a figure of speech, I know, but if using it literally, “out of control”, relative to providers of personal services, can you please explain the mechanisms of “control” that have been breached? Somebody gonna shake down Huggy Bear? 😂

In my area most of these "masseurs" aren't even trained. A gym membership and a pretty face do not = licensed masseur. No way am I paying that much $$ for some guy to rub cheap lotion all over me on a bed followed by a lackluster hand job.

As a non-provider, this makes a lot of sense to me. I'm a premium RM client and my profile has info about me and my husband. I would prefer to communicate via the platform, rather than have to text guys who won't recognize my number, etc.
But the vast majority of providers tell you NOT to contact them via the website. Now, maybe they get lots of messages from randos, but perhaps RM does or could allow providers to screen only for premium clients which would at least remove some of the fakes.

I was with two guys who are a romantic couple. I think they're married. One guy was super hung and he fucked me really hard. I've never been pounded like that. When he was done, I rolled over and asked his partner "Do you take that on a regular basis?" He rolled his eyes and said "Not so regular."

I took my # off RM a couple years ago and its been great. I've never been keen on same-day appointments so keeping my number off RM saves both parties a lot of time and wasted effort.
My auto-reply asks what they are interested & where/when/how long - followed by my preferred rates. If they are not willing to engage further than that and their profile tells me nothing about them, my response isn't as necessary. And since they have to message me, establishing a conversation with their profile means helps keep me organized because I can eventually save their phone # w/ their RM profile URL - and if they are a flake or ill behaved I have a URL to reference when warning my colleagues.

I actually always like to contact a provider through messenger anyway. It saves me first off from having to give my stats and information when it's all on my client page for the provider to see. I'd hate to be a provider and get my phone blown up by fake calls and texts. I don't know how you guys can stand that. I'd also say the more filled out and detailed the client page is, and if they are a premium client, the more likely they are for real too.

As a bottom, it’s sometimes hard to find anything other than a wham-bam-thank you-man.
Many tops just want to top, but I prefer the passion and extras over quick sex.

I’ve a regular client who feeds me his home made cake after our session, with a cup of tea (usually some unusual infusion). It’s quite an energetic session so the cake afterwards is very welcome. He’s an excellent baker and tea and cake afterwards is a very civilised way to finish I think. He’s a lovely guy and we have a nice chat.
Last time he served up a moist sponge with apricots and a flavour of tea that I’d never heard of. The cake was delicious. I wasn’t so keen on the tea.
I always think which I like best when visiting him; eating out his hole or eating the cake afterwards. It’s a difficult choice. I absolutely adore eating out holes (especially his) and I love eating cakes.
Probably both complement each other. The whole thing works nicely: massage, sex, tea cake and chat. Once trust is established then I think this drinks / cake / chat part is an integral part of the session. On out calls I like to include that element if my client is happy to. It’s a happy ending in every sense.

As a bottom, I sometimes find that providers who top have a script in mind that isn't necessarily what I'm looking for. I also find many of them present themselves as "masc" and humorless. I'm attracted to a variety of gender expression but lack of humor is a turn off.  But I don't necessarily fault those providers because gay male culture mostly regards masculinity as superior to femininity. And we've seen even on here people besmirching femme or just not uber butch providers.
