Have fun all…This year started with a lot of responsibilities, and I just can’t swing it this time of year. The hotel chain I used to book thru has closed a few locations in the city, and the options left are inflated and far outside from the action. Of course there’s independent and the nude resorts, but I prefer people to be able to come up to the room without entering a gate.
 
In the future, I wouldn’t mind a BI-annual Palm Springs event 😂 The Coachella event just creates such a gravitational force on the whole valley. I tend to prefer more off season and meet the locals. I will be making my way to SoCal next month though 👍🏾 

According to whom? I’ve been doing deposit now way back since 2010. It used to mainly be for travel/out of area bookings. But in the last 2-3 years, I decided enough was enough of running around for last minute bookings: booking hotels out of pocket or traveling to a city…and expecting what I thought to get paid, fall thru.
There’s even been times I was in a hotel or apartment already: and mofos still didn’t show. I’m not the only one who’s stated this.

If you’re going to come with that “don’t hire him” shit, without actually reading all the good reviews I have on both RentMasseur and RentMen from clients who have sent deposits, get outta here 🥾 
 

I been talking about this regularly on here. I’m in the Midwest, and I just try to travel every couple weeks to stay busy. 
I been saying it for a long time, that RentMen and Masseur: I know they’re doing what they can, but I have urged them to do more. Bring back rates would be a start. Even if it’s named differently.
The good news is, there’s still clients out there. Surprisingly, I seem to make more per booking, even though bookings are fewer. 
I’m also trying to go with longer sessions, versus resorting to discounting visits: as that would require taking on more volume.

I remember years ago, can’t remember where though: I read something that an escort who’s really serious about going to the next level should always have a “Working name”. I find most of the guys getting into tussles, seem to be picking guys with generic and explicit names. 
 
BBCHung, ArabHung, BigWhiteCock, HungLatin are likely all just baits to get you in, and do whatever. Have to be a bit more discerning. Even if they guy is all good and real, it could be the way they move that’s the issue.
And if were me, I would never go to a hotel without a room number…Its not the deposit that was the issue. That was just the facilitator. What y’all should have done, is you should have verified his room number by asking if you can call him at his hotel room. In which case he should have mentioned he requires a deposit before providing his room number.
That’s where I find sometimes clients are gullible too because, they dash out to meet without doing any common sense checks. And half be bluffing anyway. Of course some of these escorts may be phony too, but that’s why it’s good for both to ensure proper checks.

Maybe in this realm, people can assume rules they can or won’t do. Other than that, y’all aren’t running the business either, nor making rules for how providers wish to run things.

I don’t even give out my hotel name or address without a deposit. They get cross streets, where there’s likely 5 other hotels nearby. 
 
That said, unless someone posts the exchange of what occurred…who’s to say it actually happened verbatim? Something could be missing here. I find most stories here hard to believe without text message screenshots from start to finish. 
 

I will give a deposit if I get a good vibe. And sense of a bad vibe, nope. I’ve been screwed over giving money up front more than once. No more.

Go to a gay bar on any given busy night, you’ll see somebody bashing it out with their partner. I’ve seen it first hand. They probably aren’t going killer style with it but, it exists. 
Not  that I’m diluting the events that occurred, but I don’t buy into the frenzies because it’s people dealing with that stuff all the time and nothing gets done. The whole OJ thing was bigger than race. It was a turning point. I’ve NEVER paid a deposit and 99% of providers don’t ask for them. Even the high end ones who are models and reality stars and Instagram influencers who won’t show their faces in rentmen. Of whom I’ve seen many.  You’re quite delusional.

I read in the NYT today that as a result of Nicole Simpson’s death many improvements were made in California and other jurisdictions to deal with spousal abuse and intimate partner violence. Reviewing the case and its particulars I don’t think Maureen Dowd got it right by comparing it to Othello. This was more than jealousy, it was about a person with controlling behaviour and a penchant for violence. 
Here in Canada some jurisdictions are declaring domestic violence an epidemic. Whether that will lead to better outcomes remains to be seen. It is a daunting task to control someone’s behavior when they show a willingness to kill their spouses and then themselves. There is little that can deter that kind of behavior imo. 

Scammers like those from the OP’s experience are emboldened because they know clients will send deposits.  Every client in this forum should be advised and warned NEVER to send deposits.

It is one of the benefits of this forum that when a provider participates in an open and honest way we get a real sense of the things (such as deposits and their approach to being hired) that matter to them and how they approach the business they are in. 
While someone will avoid this provider because of those things that he has stated in his posts, others will find it refreshing and interesting to engage them (to each their own).  Love2GetMassaged is clear that he would not hire Jarrod_Unut, and that is obviously his prerogative.  For myself, knowing the way he approaches his business and the model he uses, I am of the opposite view.  I don't perceive his posts as arrogant but rather as someone who is confident in the way he approaches being a provider that suits his business model and I respect that. 
Everyone, client and provider, has the opportunity to engage or not based on whatever criteria they choose.  Each of us makes our own rules, choices and decisions.  From that point we move on one way or another.

That sounds hella racist. Blacks? Racial vengeance? What the hell is that? Again, people in the 90s likely hold a different view than now. Just like the George Floyd and even BLM. More Whites are cognitive to injustice than back during those times. 
 
I had an Arab friend get a felony for spray painting racist Chinese slur on his brother’s/sister in law’s (who was Chinese) garage. He got off with no jail time (even though he did spend like a year in jail awaiting to see a judge). 
Sometimes people get too wrapped up in other people’s affairs. I was young when all this broke out, but I remember hating hearing the news about it every fucking day. It seems like OJ will always be a polarizing figure.  It was one of the first instances I can recall where a human tragedy became fodder for reality tv sensationalism.  It may have been the beginning of court cases being used for entertainment purposes and the rise of celebrities that are famous for being famous, like the entire Kardashian family.  I see a definite division between the pre-OJ trial tv age and the post-trial age, and I can remember getting sick of seeing it broadcast day in and day out for what seemed like years.  I was glad when it finally came to an end, but it still opened the door for all sorts of reality tv that followed, shows that are premised on the public being looky-loos without the capacity to think objectively about what they are watching.
