I have only glowing praise to offer about Maus. I just realized I've been playing this game for three decades as of this year and he's absolutely one of my three favorite guys of all time. Of course this business always comes down to chemistry and what others look for may not be the same things that I value, but Maus is sexy, kind, intelligent, and fun, which is pretty much my entire wish list.

He had previously gone Josh_Pho or something like that. Met him years ago. Was a nice guy and we had fun. At that time he seemed a little skinnier than some of the pics, but couldn’t say whether that is still the case. I don’t recall being wowed but didn’t really have any issue, just never had the urge to rehire.

Nibs reacted to Simon Suraci in How often do you hire men that have not been vetted on CoM?
    ^ I can’t emphasize your point enough.
Just because there is no info on a provider here doesn’t mean they are bad or good. It just means nobody has taken the time to go out of their way to write something publicly about a particular provider on this specific platform. Very few of you clients actually know of it and use the site with any frequency. Think of commentary here like the tip of an iceberg. For every one mention on here, that provider has seen at least hundreds of other clients. For every one of my RentMasseur reviews, for instance, I have seen at least many dozens, if not hundreds of other clients between one review and the next. The people seeing a provider and not reviewing could all be stellar experiences, or they could be more mixed. You never know. All you see is the tip of that iceberg.
I hire massages from time to time and benefit quite a bit from commentary here. I have a pretty good read on things being a masseur myself, so I don’t put too much stock in any one comment or member. I rely on my intuition more, but consistent good comments inspire me to try someone I had never considered or heard of before. It can sway me when I’m on the fence too.
I’ve spent more time in the deli section lately as a client agent doing the work of vetting and arranging new providers for clients. I try to steer clients toward the professionals with a positive track record here along with following my own gut instincts, which are usually right. The guys with no commentary have been a total toss-up. More often than not, a client will insist against my best intuition to hire a guy and he proves to be a disappointment. As clients trust my judgment more and more, they consider my opinion more valuable, and I’m more like a veto vote.
With that said, you won’t find everyone mentioned here. Plenty of CoM members have hired guys that I’ve hired but I never heard a peep about those providers from them here until after the fact when I mention them. Not every CoM client is taking the time to contribute.
Newbie providers as well as experienced professionals may lack mention here, either by chance or by design. Some providers know about the site and have asked for their threads to be taken down over the years.
So often we see a repeated “bump” in a provider thread containing no info because nobody is willing to risk time and money on a provider without a track record here. This forum is a give and take. Count the number of times you avoided a bad hire or had a great experience with a good hire because of your research on CoM. Now count how many times you contributed to threads based on your experience, especially when you were the first to “take the plunge” and share about it. If that second number is vanishingly small (or zero) compared to the first number, you should reconsider your expectations and use of the site. It only works when we all make an effort to contribute. Don’t just take. Give.
Same goes for the members who “bump” dozens of times for every one time they contribute. You are doing a lot of asking, and not a lot of answering. The site will serve everyone better when more of us take time to contribute.
You don’t need to have a binary horrible / amazing experience to write useful commentary. Sometimes middle of the road, “adequate”, “met my expectations” kinds of comments can help too. These create some sense of safety for other clients to try a provider and perhaps have better experiences than yours. Not everyone is going to have the best experience of their life with a given provider every time they meet him. That doesn’t make for a bad provider, either. It’s just realistic.
Nor does a provider have to rob or scam you to be on the worse end of the spectrum. They could go through the motions and do on paper everything you could expect they were supposed to do, and still not be that good of a provider because his focus was elsewhere or he made you feel uncomfortable or some other less tangible, objective thing. This work is not easy. Not everyone is good at it. Not every provider can knock it out of the park every single time. Experiences vary, even from one meeting to the next with the same client.

Sorry for the cold shower on your hot fantasy, guys. I’m just trying to inject some realism into this discussion so you can develop appropriate expectations and also delight in the unexpected when it happens. Value your providers and pay them accordingly.
Please keep in mind we are not cum machines. I completely understand the client fantasy of a massage scenario morphing into a porn set. That scenario assumes your appointment is the only thing on your masseur’s agenda for the day. However, it’s just that: a fantasy.
I can’t deliver cum for a massage fee for every client that darkens my door. Some days that means I would have to get hard and ejaculate six times back to back. Never mind the fact that I may have a legit escort client I have to perform for on that same day. I just can’t do it consistently and still maintain quality or sufficiently pace myself.
If you want your masseur to cum as part of your massage session, please ask for it and pay his escort rate, or at the very least, tip very generously when you fail to discuss an appropriate fee prior to starting the session and he does it for you anyway. If your guy is already way overcharging for massage (like, $200+/hr), it’s safe to assume these services are already baked into the cost and I wouldn’t worry about it.
$160/hr or less I would assume nothing more than massage, and enjoy the possibility of some extras if he does them. Happy endings are very common and normal, but not guaranteed. Do not expect full service, oral, or your masseur to cum for you. Some guys might do these things for their regular massage fee, but please respect masseurs with boundaries around what they will do for their standard massage fee. Boundaries vary. Clients are not entitled to anything they didn’t already discuss with their masseur.
I want my clients to understand the value of each of the services they hire and pay accordingly. Massage (even erotic massage) is NOT discount sex work. Blowing loads all over clients with no discussion of rates beforehand is, in my mind, asking the client to expect discount escort services.
We can debate at length about what is and isn’t sex work and many other threads already hash it out. IMHO, having to deliver cum - in one way or another - is well within the sex work category. Others can charge whatever they want for it. If your guy can consistently cum for you for a massage fee, enjoy the discount service, but please do not place the same expectations on other masseurs.
I can do six massages a day. I can’t possibly take six escort clients a day. So I charge higher for escort service and lower for massage. Scarcity over a given time period is among the many reasons I charge the way I do.

It’s a regular thing clients want. I usually kneel with my legs either side of their hips and cum on their chest or face as I bring them off with my hand behind me. It’s a great visual for them. The trick is timing it so that I cum just before they do 😉

Yup. Best not to judge a book by its cover.
All kinds of people want service, including those with menacing gang tattoos, hard faces, or they’re in denial, or never had an experience like this before. Meet them where they’re at. They’re deciding to see you, which means they want to be there. Have an open mind. Use caution and good sense. Communicate when something is unclear. “Is this ok? Are you comfortable when I do xyz? Would you rather I do abc?”
Some clients are just weird. Not dangerous, just awkward. Some people are on a neuro-atypical spectrum. Some are just nervous. All of this is fine and normal. Take it in stride. Read the client and respond appropriately.
    Protect yourself when necessary.

Yeah… that’s steep for “therapeutic only”. Be wary of guys like this. If you have a straight fantasy fetish and he scratches your itch, go for it, but be prepared to pay a heck of a lot more for what you actually want. More like regular escort rates or higher. You’re not hiring someone like this for massage only, otherwise you would likely go with a skilled provider who charges close to going market rates. If you want extras, be prepared to pay much more than the advertised $220/hr, which is already above market to begin with….
Remember, guys like this have multiple income streams from OF, porn, and other platforms. They don’t need to charge realistic rates because this is not their main living. They can get away with charging a lot more than a reasonable market rate because they’re only taking a select limited few who are willing to pay for a specific straight fantasy “scene”. He’s an apple, while most of the other guys are oranges. Evaluate accordingly.
Haven’t seen him but please do share if your experience is contrary to my assumptions based on reading the ad. Also curious if the massage is any good because usually the focus for this type of guy is not massage. Bonus if he’s actually good!

So I’ve heard over and over here that SD is slim pickings. I’m hoping to shake things up a bit after I move in August and set up shop in America’s Finest City.
I’m looking for a work space in neighborhoods south of the 52, north of the 94, west of the 15, and east of the 5. Try me after the move. If there’s anything to improve I would rather hear it directly from clients, so feel free to reach out. I offer a great experience, but I am always growing and looking to improve my business.

Anyone feel free to PM me directly with questions or comments, or reach me on any of my several ad platforms or website. Or private message other members who have seen me to get their insights. My contributions here will necessarily be biased.
I’m posting this message for everyone to know where to reach me and then staying out of this thread. I’d rather  clients comment on me candidly here. I’ll do my best to not take things personally or try to influence conversations about me here. It’s important to share info freely and not feel like you’re being monitored. Even though it’s kind of difficult for me to ignore…I will try to.
My contributions in the forums are often long winded, yes, but also quite thoughtful. At least that’s what other members I respect say about me.
I’m moving to San Diego, CA in August 2023. You may find me traveling to other cities here and there in the future, but my home base will be San Diego for the foreseeable future. The past two years I’ve spent in Dallas, TX. Many clients in the DFW area can speak to the quality of my work, or those who have traveled to Dallas and seen me there.
My specialty is deep tissue massage. Clients enjoy the balance I offer between quality therapy and sensual / erotic elements.
Have fun, keep calm, and get a massage!

Post 4 of a potential 6.37 kajillion replies to the OP…
Here’s what we know, guys: Escorts can charge whatever they want. We, the clients, can pay that rate or find lesser-priced escorts. Or not hire at all, and simply date our dominant hand. It’s that simple. There is no union to strike against, no Groupon deals, not even a well-endowed (ha ha) support group to shoulder the myriad emotional turmoil this financial burden may inflict upon us. Do I think $400 is a lot of money for an hour of shenanigans? Fuck yeah!  However, I prefer to look at it this way: If a hot, hunky, hairy, hung provider charges me $400 to let me have my way my him and in doing so gives me an inarguably unforgettable experience, I’m going to practically force that $400 on him and feel like my cash was well spent. And the day that splendid feeling evaporates is the day I stop hiring. Until then, I’ll continue to open my checkbook (and all of my orifices) and have the fucking time of my life. Cheers, my friends!

Nibs reacted to Simon Suraci in Coming Soon: Reviews for Masseurs
@RadioRob Thank you for your hard work putting the review platform together! Great base format. Here are a few input items, in no particular order of preference or importance:
    1. Shower available: Y/N
    2. Home city (or “primary” city?)
    3. Differentiate between massage “modality” as in sports, deep tissue, Lomi Lomi, Swedish, Reiki, etc and “sensual / erotic” as a separate category altogether, however you want to label it. It’s nice to know what the masseur does apart from anything erotic or sensual. Erotic/sensual is no a replacement for a primary modality as such. The modality could be a check all that apply item.
    4. Massage table: Y/N. It’s important to know this. If the answer is no, the implication is that the massage is on a bed, couch, mat/floor, and these are generally inappropriate and unprofessional ways to give a massage, although it happens frequently. Nice to know the level of professionalism and this is one of the biggest base indicators. Applies to incall or outcall, so no need to differentiate. I agree with @Jamie21
    5. Previous aliases, similar comment to those in the Deli thread.
    6. Rates are a touchy subject. My two cents: let the client put rate/fee info in their review content, since there are so many reasons why a rate or total “fee” may vary apples to oranges with another masseur. The client can elaborate if desired.
    7. This may be unpopular, but a field to indicate how much a client tipped may be helpful to show others what is normal, or conversely, if the reviewer is not tipping, under tipping or overtipping, and the review content can support why.
    8. Skill level: 1-5 stars
    9. Reliability: 1-5 stars
    10. Formal training: Y/N
    11. Responsiveness: 1-5 stars
    12. Ability to post multiple platform URLs for quick reference, such as MasseurFinder, RentMasseur, RentMen, FriendBoy, MintBoys, shared couple/collaborator profiles etc.
    13. Payment methods accepted: check all that apply: Cash, Zelle, Venmo, Credit Cards, Apple Pay, CashApp, PayPal, etc.
    14. Massage equipment (besides table): check all that apply. Theragun, hot towels, aromatherapy, candles, hot stones. A little help from others on more options would be nice. I mention theragun because some guys rely on these too heavily as a way to not actually massage the client. Why bother hiring? Some use it only as a supplement which is fine.
    15. Music: 1-5 stars
    16. Additional services: check all that apply. Body Scrubs. Grooming. Esthetician services (covers a fairly wide range from waxing to facials). Others help me out by adding more ideas. I do body sculpting (laser lipo) but I know that’s much less common.
    17. Massage products used. Same comment as @Jamie21 but I would include a simplified drop-down list: natural oil, massage cream, massage gel, baby oil (to out the bad ones who actually use this!), and “other”.
