I don't mean to be argumentative, however, the above post does not reflect reality.
The poster reminds us that we are in a big recession then goes off to offer an unrealistic alternative of going to a sex club and/or using free hook-up apps.   He further says that the provider sets his rate and that clients must accept those rates.  Again, not realistic.  
If a provider asks for too much money, most clients skip over and find a different provider.  
If too many providers ask too high a rate, and continuously gets turned down for the high rates, provider rates will come down. 
It goes both ways.  The recession hits the client and also hits the provider. 
It is just a matter of time before providers realize that their rates are out of line with reality.

Here’s what we know, guys: Escorts can charge whatever they want. We, the clients, can pay that rate or find lesser-priced escorts. Or not hire at all, and simply date our dominant hand. It’s that simple. There is no union to strike against, no Groupon deals, not even a well-endowed (ha ha) support group to shoulder the myriad emotional turmoil this financial burden may inflict upon us. Do I think $400 is a lot of money for an hour of shenanigans? Fuck yeah!  However, I prefer to look at it this way: If a hot, hunky, hairy, hung provider charges me $400 to let me have my way my him and in doing so gives me an inarguably unforgettable experience, I’m going to practically force that $400 on him and feel like my cash was well spent. And the day that splendid feeling evaporates is the day I stop hiring. Until then, I’ll continue to open my checkbook (and all of my orifices) and have the fucking time of my life. I disagree. I have no interest in giving my money to anyone or any organization that works against my own rights and liberty. There is definitely a difference between the guys I used to hire and the guys I dated or partnered. For hot and dirty sex, I liked big, hairy tops, but for an emotional relationship I wanted guys I could relate to on a personal level as friends, with whom I shared values and non-sexual interests. I rarely found men who fit both descriptions.  I have been happily married for years to a guy who is older and shorter than I, slim (when we met) and almost devoid of body hair, and cute (when we met) but not a head-turner on the street. The sexual spark between us when we met was not based on physical attributes but personality. One doesn't flip through the photos on RM looking for emotional compatibility.

See, this pisses me off. So you’re giving me “reduced service” (if you will) because you’re saving yourself for another client? That’s like a chef saying I’m not going to cook well for the lunch crowd because I have to be ready for the dinner crowd.  
 

It has happened to me 3 years ago, similar situation. I just told him to go ahead, that I didn't give a shit about family and friends being notified because they already knew (not true).
