I never go back to a poisoned well. Once burned, twice shy. If there’s already a thread here about them (there almost always is because I rarely hire "unknowns") I briefly add a post saying that they were a no-show to save others from wasting their time. Wasting my time is a cardinal sin. I’d almost rather you showed up and were a lousy fuck….almost.

Fuck, could the guy get any more handsome? Now, I gotta figure out how to get to fucking Hartford before he ends up on the "One’s that Got Away" list.

I’ve never been a big Patti LuPone fan, but this performance…..on the same stage with Elaine Stritch….is a truly Epic performance! -

He was 91 freaking years old…… The world has lost a great and talented man. No doubt, but a "tragedy"? Really? -
Elaborate Celebration for Reopening of "Sphinx Avenue" in Luxor
+ nycman replied to + azdr0710's topic in The Lounge
I may be in the minority, but I found the glow sticks, the cheesy "modern" dance moves, and the paper mache boats to be extremely tacky. The dramatic night lighting does cover a thousand sins. You know, like filming parts of such a spectacle in a place where 60 innocent tourists were massacred less than 3 decades ago…. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luxor_massacre Nonetheless, Luxor and Karnak are astounding. I’m just not a fan of the garish modern overlay that does little to enhance the original. Like most things in the Middle East…..Egypt is complicated. -
So now the only question is what fucking town is he in? Or more precisely….in which town is he fucking?

It was my brain not my dick that guided my education. Well that and who the hell wants to work at McDonalds for life?

"I top but can bottom if you really want me too."’ Nothing like a reluctant bottom. Kinda says it all.

Lmao….I love New Yorkers. He’s on the same fucking island. It’s not like he’s north of the article circle! It’s like 3 stops on the A train from Columbus Circle, you lazy ass whore……grin

I still don’t think you get the concept of St Bart’s…… Now, I know you don’t. I’m being funny. No there is no "night life" per se on St Barts. It’s a tiny Caribbean island with a mega wealthy clientele. There are no discos or clubs of which to speak. Occasionally, one of the venues will have some sort of "after dinner" party. It’s usually a bust, but if extremely laid back, high end (i.e. expensive) Caribbean, S&M (stand and model) is your vibe, it can be ok. Ask the locals when you get there. They know everything that’s going on in and around the island. It changes frequently. Mostly because nothing really catches fire and lasts very long. All the tourists are chasing the "newest, hippest" spot, which leads to…..well….a lot of chasing. Don’t get me wrong, I think St Barts is one of the most magical places on the planet. Unfortunately, most people don’t have any idea what they’re getting into when they plan their first trip and they end up hating it because they were expecting a Huge Jamaican Party Boat and what they got was a Minuscule French Bateau. And yeah, don’t take the ferry from SXM. People will laugh at you……grin

I once saw a "wall" collapse during a performance at the Mariinsky circa 1993. At the time I thought….and we were worried about losing the Cold War? On the same trip, I saw La Bayadère at the Bolshoi, and during The Kingdom of the Shades, I thought ….how did we ever win?

Why shoot a selfie while looking at your phone screen?

It’s a little frightening if the bots have gotten this complex. And I believe they have. -
I test well. Enough said. In the long run, I’ve found that hard work is infinitely more important.

I would appear that this is information you found out by snooping around using the escorts personal information. Admittedly, this is something that is quite commonly done in today’s world. That doesn’t mean it’s morally sound to do so. Nonetheless, the deed is done and now you’ve uncovered something that may, or may not, reflect poorly on the young man’s reputation. Of course, the only reason you’re not confronting him directly with the information you’ve uncovered is that you don’t want him to know that you were digging into his private life. So in essence you are protecting yourself while doing damage to his reputation. Even if the damage is only in your mind and to your relationship with him. Your judging him without giving him a fair chance to defend himself seems at best unfair and at worst self-serving. Man up, tell him about your little Nancy Drew escapade, face the shame, and give him a chance to explain. I believe you owe it to him. I’m sure others feel differently.

Go ahead. It’s your cash, do as you please. But being stuck on a small Caribbean island with someone I don’t wan’t be there with sounds like a special level of Hell to me. Kind of like the ultimate blind overnight hire mistake. Deadly? Perhaps not. You’ll just wish you were.

You’ve never been to St. Barts have you? There are zero direct flights from Paris to St. Barts. Some flights from Paris to Saint Martin next door. Still, it wouldn’t be a good idea to fly someone in unless you know them very well. It’s a very small and intimate island. Flying in the wrong escort here would be a deadly, not to mention costly, mistake.

I love crazy New York right now. Reminds me of the late 80’s early 90’s NYC. A little messy, a little dangerous, certainly not sterile. I predict some impressive creativity will come from this time.

How….fucking….dare…..you not use his name? You little punk ass bitch! The man was and is a fucking G-O-D I give you….Henry Rollins! For the record, it was a Mosh Pit at a Black Flag concert in Philly that I decided "I’m too old for this shit", and became a little punk ass bitch myself, and exited the mosh pit forever. At the ripe old age of 25! grin

Do I take legal action or do I take the difficult "high road"?

I think it’s the “Ex" coming here to cause trouble. Of course I have zero proof, I’m just stirring the shit pot….because it’s fun! -
50,000 is a very large but not huge event. In an open, outdoor, well designed, space, that shouldn’t lead to multiple crush injury deaths. Nonetheless, a sudden wave of panic can easily set off a group and mass hysteria quickly ensues. There’s really no way to prevent it other than sectioning them off like they do in Times Square on New Years Eve. It kills the vibe, but that’s the point. It’s one, of several, reasons I no longer attended large events. I’ve been "nearly crushed" and certainly "stepped on" more than a few times in my misspent youth. I consider myself lucky, and I no longer feel the need to tempt fate. Having worked on planning events of this size, this is one of many "worst case" scenarios that keeps you up at night in the weeks leading up to the event.

I always knew we were kindred spirits on this Astral Plane. Which was also one of my favorite restaurants in Philly. What can I say? I was poor and didn’t really know great food, but I did appreciate alternative decor!
