I think his installations are much more impressive than his paintings. His paintings are very derivative. And quite frankly, if you’re going to reference masterpieces so heavily, you better be a fucking great painter. (Spoiler alert…he’s not) Because you can be damn sure your work is going to be compared brushstroke by brushstroke with the original. Simply put, his talent in painting doesn’t match his very provocative ideas. In addition, I thought the Trudeau Rape piece was incredibly tasteless. Frankly, I’m glad the giant pieces in the Met Grand hall were taken down. It’s not really the place for giant, mediocre art. No matter how politically correct it maybe. They seemed to scream "we’re so woke we’ll even hang titan sized murals of inferior art to prove it". I predict the Met’s acquisition of them will be something future generations will find puzzling.

Unless you’re immunosuppressed, I’d say wait. If your in one of the high risk groups, try to be patient and wait for the data and the CDC recommendation, then get it. If you’re neither of those, you’re better off waiting for the rest of the planet to get their first 2 shots. Maybe not the answer you wanted, but it’s technically the correct one.
