  1. Thanks for this. I visited Sauna Thermas twice last year, and I didn't know about renting rooms. I just spent my time in the sauna, spa, and at the bar. When I met a boy I wanted to hire, he brought me to an available small room and we had our 30 minutes of fun for 50 Euros. It was the same for every boy I hired, about 5 boys over 2 visits. When I visit next year, I'll be sure to ask what the room options are and if any include drinks as you suggest. But, I'll be satisfied even if I don't get a room and have the same experience as my last visits.
  2. When I "googled" "Proper definition", it gave me this: I had not seen the descriptor "British English" when I've looked up words before. But it makes perfect sense. In American English, we would likely say "That man is not an actual sex worker" instead of "proper sex worker", and it wouldn't ruffle as many feathers. I hear that word "actual" used several times a day in this context (not always about sex workers, but something like "I didn't actually have lunch today, only a snack", etc.) and it irks me, because "proper" is clearly the more accurate word in these situations. But that's what makes the English language the colorful language ...colourful language... it is which is awesome ...I mean, brilliant. 😊
  3. My best hires so far for 2025 were the men at the annual Company of Men Palm Springs gathering in April. I hired about 4-5 of them throughout the weekend: some in a group and some separately. My room is already booked for next year's gathering... Just waiting for the dates to officially be announced.
  4. The next time I hire, I'll be sure to discerne first if he is a proper sex worker. As I surely don't want to waste my hour on a common gigalo. Thankfully, about 99% of the men I've met and hired, including all those I've met as members on Company of Men, have been proper and made me feel like and attractive Bear/Daddy.. BTW, I list "British English" on my resume as a 2nd language that I can understand (Australian English is listed as 3rd). Therefore, perhaps I have a better understanding of @Jamie21 meaning of "proper" as a British Adjective than others might. Just don't ask me to translate Canadian English!
  5. Be mindful if visiting any spas or bathhouses in Montreal, as those were the sources for outbreaks of Monkeypox in the recent past, and Monkeypox is back in Montreal:
  6. Remember to be careful, as spas and bathhouses were the leading cause of the last Monkeypox outbreaks, and Monkeypox is back again in Montreal:
  7. I am grateful to have learned something useful today. To be culturally sensitive to the Day Laborers I hire who are willing to top me but do not want an equal partnership, I will from now on try to remember to say "Exploit me, Daddy" as each of them pounds my ass. 🥳 This way, as the bottom, it will be clear for the record that I am the one who is exploited, if that makes him feel better. It's important to make him feel macho and I'm control, especially if I am interested in hiring him again. 😍
  8. I've written "sex tourism" on my customs form in the past and never had a problem. But seeing as how the world is getting more sensitive, next time I'll just say "strip clubs". When I travel each year to Mexico, I bring my own enemas because I'm not putting Mexican water up my anus to prepare for intercourse. Mexican customs officers once stopped me and asked me what they were and tried to give me a hard time. Then I loudly said "It's for sex in the butt", pointing to my penis and then my butt, then the customs officers quickly let me through and away from the rest of the public. My point is: it's just sex. As long is it's not drugs, money laundering, terrorism, employment without the proper visa, or the potential to overstay your visa, you'll be fine if you let it slip that you're going to or went to strip clubs.
  9. I went to Montreal and Toronto last year. The exchange rate for US dollar vs Canadian is good! It's not as good as a few months ago, but it's much better than it was in 2021-2024. Enjoy the exchange rate, cooler weather, and beautiful men in the Gay Village!
  10. Just don't tell my employer. That company has been exploiting me for nearly a quarter century (giving me money to do something I would not otherwise be doing willingly). I sure would hate for that exploitation to end.
  11. There's nothing discrete about Queer today. Gays, Lesbians, and Bisexuals just wanted to not be harassed or arrested for gathering on their own. Today's Queers want attention and thrive on making ordinary situations uncomfortable for as many people as possible. Queer is a fitting word, because it's strange indeed.
  12. Did they have the stripper costumes available for sale in the lobby? I want to buy the twinkle costume to wear at Christmas!
  13. The producers made a big deal about "color-conscience" casting, hoping that would make up for lackluster scenery and directing, when the color they should have focused on was the green.
  14. Welcome to Company of Men! The Search 🔍 feature at the top of the page is a great tool. Searching for "Jock" and "NYC" (must match all words, subject title only) gave this fairly recent discussion. There's a few guys listed here, which I'm sure any of them would be a great first hire:
  15. I agree 💯 When discussing masseurs or spas, I am careful to either recommend a person/place or not. If not, I'll list why. I will not disclose anything else, publicly or privately. As for gay bars, gay clubs, gay saunas, gay hotels, etc., it's a slippery slope with equal rights to prohibit women or people who yell "rape" in online reviews because someone touched his ass at the gay bar. I am finding that mandatory dress codes (pants and underwear prohibited) for back rooms and saunas seem to be the best way to keep the looky-loos away and keep these places for men who know what they want from other men. Or, if no dress code, then fisting porn playing on screens above the gay bar or in the lobby of a gay hotel, to help ward-off would be complainers who take to the Internet to expose all that goes on.
  16. I haven't celebrated Halloween in years. October 31 is Nevada Day, a state holiday, with parades celebrating our state joining the Union on October 31, 1864, just days before the first Republican Presidential re-election. Those of us without kids forget it's also Halloween. Up in our state capital, Halloween has historically been observed on October 30 so it doesn't interfere with the Nevada Day festivities on October 31. I do usually hire escorts for recognized state holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving. Perhaps this year I'll hire for Nevada Day also, seeing how it's a Friday this year. And no, escorts haven't charged me a premium for meeting on a holiday.
  17. My barber charges half of that, but he also fucks me at the end. So I feel it is an overall good deal.
  18. I think we need an additional section besides the Deli and Spa. We need a section to recommend lawyers and plumbers who provide this service to customers. Why waste a good Plumber's Crack?
  19. Salary of escorts and masseurs have been discussed and theorized for years on this website. The result is always the same: no providers willing to share their income, and no guidance either way other than no two situations are identical. But remember, unlike your consultant scenario above who is likely to command higher pay at age 55 than 25, that's not typical in the escort industry. Men who devote themselves full time to this career, as you theorize, jeopardize their future in other ways by not gaining paid experience in another industry to help them move up the corporate ladder when the time comes to transition out of escorting into something different. So, even if a man receives a healthy income escorting while young, he must be prudent to save and invest close to half of it, thereby living below his "peers" and possibly below the median for a considerable amount of time. To bring the topic back to tipping: I don't tip based on what I perceive someone's income to be, or what I think his net income might be. My decision to tip is based on the service, and based on how pricing was set (I don't tip an owner of a business who sets his own prices, but I do tip his staff who provide me personal service at the rates set by the boss).
  20. I assume Oral means he likes to engage in conversation. A good conversationalist both gives and receives.
  21. I assume Oral means he likes to engage in conversation.
  22. Yes, I have always been told to keep and not lose the "green card" Mexican immigration gives me when I enter Mexico, lest I be subject to a fee. This has been standard procedure for me for at least a decade. Sometimes the immigration officer doesn't stamp my passport, but most of the time he does. With a passport card, there is no place to stamp; therefore, all the more reason to keep track of your Mexican "green card" until after you've safely returned to the United States.
  23. Poor grammar or the use of "VIP" are turn offd for me but not necessarily red flags.
