Read it again...this time read between the lines... The first session was massage. The second session was not. The "deli" is a good home for this thread. I have seen him a number of times the past year. I will repeat - it has been a good experience for me.

Yes, I always give to the Ali Forney Center in NYC. As you indicated there are a lot of homeless LGBT youth in NYC - I believe San Fran and LA face some of the same problems, but NYC has always been a beacon of hope for these young people. So if you usually pay $15 for the cut + say $5 tip = $20, I would tip $25 being the $20 holiday tip plus regular visit $5 tip. I usually hand over the cash, wish him a happy holiday. I find your humanity and honesty refreshing. It is hard to admit that we have blind spots. Honestly, it wouldn't change the equation for me - I always go into a meeting assuming that there is a STD present; and plan and play accordingly.
